MN seem to have nuked the other threads on CM because it's an active police investigation.

It's been an active police investigation all this time so fuck knows why they've chosen now to delete entire threads Hmm

I don't see why that means it can't be discussed on an open forum. The police have chosen to tell the media about the recent updates to this case anyhow.

grosgirl · 28/02/2023 12:48

Sorry if this has already been discussed but what is the situation with the baby Constance seems to have been pictured with a lot? On every news article, she is holding an older child, definitely not the newborn they are looking for now. Is this her child too?

SpinningFloppa · 28/02/2023 12:54

She's had 3 other children removed they are her older children there is more than one

She has two or three other children. They are not in her care and from context we can conclude that they were most likely removed by social services

newjobnewstartihope · 28/02/2023 13:01

People keep saying she's had other kids removed but there's no evidence of this anywhere- is it the Nelson Mandela affect?

I remember a pp saying they knew her years ago and she didn’t have any children then, it hasn’t been widely reported if she did have older children

Check her Facebook profile - the photos and the pages she likes

The person also said they hadn't seen or spoken to her in 10 years 🤦 there are kids on her Facebook her actual friends have congratulated her and told her the kids look like her. She refers to them as hers.

Boshi · 28/02/2023 13:15

DSI Lewis Basford from the Met police also said the sex of the baby is unknown and they are hoping that the mum and partner Mark Gordon have given them to someone else.

The Telegraph reports he said: “We can’t say at this time if it’s a boy or a girl and we are still awaiting test results from the placenta found in their car on the M61.

“At the moment, we are still in the position where they have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect and there is a search for the baby.

“We are looking at open land, outbuildings where they may have placed the baby while they were in the local area before we arrested them.

“There's nothing to say they were in the caravan, we still think they were living in the outdoor environment and the that is leading us, and the arrest location, to the outdoor search.

“I think, we’ve got to keep the hope that maybe they have allowed somebody else to care for the baby who thinks they are doing some good on behalf of the couple but as we know, as the temperature drops and the longer the baby goes without parents the risks are high.”

This is so sad, why won’t the couple just say where the baby is? Shocking that they would allow this search to go ahead.. unless they think finding the baby would reveal child neglect or worse 😔

From what that PP said, I think she knew her at university before her older children were born.
CM does have older children.

And I thought the police wanted people to check their sheds etc so the more publicity it's getting the better, surely?

newjobnewstartihope · 28/02/2023 13:30

I don't think Facebook posts can be taken as evidence they could be relatives

DobbyTheHouseElk · 28/02/2023 13:31

I am losing hope for that poor baby. It doesn’t look good.

TokyoSushi · 28/02/2023 13:33

I had perhaps naively assumed that they were on the run so that they could keep the baby. Although the conditions must have been very difficult to ensure the baby's safety, especially seemingly living outside since the beginning of January.

It’s unlikely that you’d refer to relatives as your “love sprogs” though.

I assumed the same. They ran to keep the baby. That still might be the case but maybe things have gone wrong since then.

If the police are saying they still think they've been living outdoors they must look /smell like they have been living rough.

There is a picture with one of the children and you can see MG is holding him no you don't see the face but let's not be silly now, perhaps it's a relative as well? 🙄 given that she cut contact with the family when she met him it's extremely unlikely to believe these children are all relatives (definitely 3 different children) and if they were do you think MG would be allowed around them given she cut contact with her family as they didn't support her relationship him? She cut contact with the family 8 years ago when she met MG the Facebook photos were uploaded in 2020, so you think she's really been in contact with relatives the whole time? Doesn't take a genius to work out they are her children. She has been estranged from her whole family for many years.

It never occurred to me that they would be found without the baby
I had thought disappearing with the baby was their way of keeping it with them for as long as they could

It was pointed out during discussion on this thread, by me and many others, that the baby was at risk from living rough, and potentially at risk from its own parents. And we were told no they've been maligned because her family has money and he's black. There are people out there who have seen them and haven't called it in I'm sure of it.

newjobnewstartihope · 28/02/2023 14:45

I just don't think you can conclude someone has kids that have been taken into card because of some pictures of children on someone's Facebook

Pictures of 3 children that look very much like they're CM and MG's, are never pictured together, and never when older than young toddlers.

These are children which clearly haven't been with her since well before the latest birth. Police never mention them so they must be known to be safe and well elsewhere.

They have both been estranged from family and friends since 2016 so hard to believed they're relatives children. Referring to someone else's children as "my love sprogs" would be an odd phrase.

Her Facebook likes include "social services exposed".

Removal of previous children would provide a motive for concealing the latest pregnancy and going on the run.

It's not definitive proof but it's hard not to come to the conclusion that older children have been removed.

One of the children pictures is usually pixilated to hide the child but in the telegraph is shown clear ( child's head is visible not face) and the child looks to be mixed race from the coloring and hair, so whilst not conclusively C and M's, looks likely.

No but they are obviously not with her on the run so where are they? She’s also following social services exposed on her Facebook. They could be in the care of family but they certainly aren’t with them as they would have been mentioned or seen in pictures don’t you think?

JammyThing · 28/02/2023 15:40

How are you all finding her on Facebook??

SpinningFloppa · 28/02/2023 15:46

They were having an argument before they were found apparently

I think it’s her surname and her nickname which is the name her family use.
