He certainly hasn't apologised.
It wasn't even the pithy "Sorry if I've caused offence".
His argument seems to be that because it was in GoT then it's not hateful really. Not misogynistic.
He hasn't addressed the comparison to a serial child murderer.
Given what's actually in GoT, then the bar has officially been set VERY low for what's acceptable to say about what you want to do to women. In national press. This isn't taunting someone for touching their belly or eating avocados. This is actually depraved.
Where's the responsibility that comes with freedom of speech?
