Why is Jeremy C*ntson not being arrested for inciting hate and violence?

He can be an insufferable wanker, sure, but serious journalism is not his thing.

His thing is winding people up and watching them rage. He's very good at annoying people.

I am taking it seriously because I know how terrifying it is for an older man to voice violent fantasies about you. I am taking it seriously because there are countries across the world where violence against women is the norm. I am taking it seriously because women die every week in this country at the hands of male violence. It is not a joke. We should never ever accept descriptions of violence against women as funny.

What a horrible thing to write and even worse that a newspaper would actually think it’s ok to print this shit.
Nobody would ask for the same kind of treatment to be inflicted upon a man, the nakedness is a form of sexual assault and yes, I agree that this should be illegal. It’s absolutely vile and another prime example of why misogynistic speech like this should be made a hate crime.

As Cersei walks, Septa Unella accompanies her, repeatedly calling out "Shame!" and ringing a bell to attract people's attention and the crowd boos and pelts her with rotten fruits and vegetables

I don’t recall, when watching GoT, it being presented as a positive thing - not least because Cersei ultimately resumed her position of power and had the Septa beaten and raped to death.

Break out of your box and embrace nuanced thought. It’s perfectly possible to find the Harry and Meghan show unedifying but still recognise vile misogyny as unacceptable behaviour.
