Stupidly difficult work quiz

The stupidly difficult work quiz is back for those of you that remember (@rosegoldwatcher).

Basically there are a series of very hard puzzles to solve - each puzzle solve gives you a password to move onto the next stage.

I've already managed to solve stage one myself (go me!) but I've ground to a halt as usual on the second stage (which consists of 8 individual puzzles to solve).

Here's a couple of puzzles i'm stuck on - any help much appreciated!

Oops - bull is Taurus not Cancer. What a plank!

Ah yes! The one in the football goal is Rene Higuta (sp?) - and it's called the scorpion kick so Scorpio!

So the answer is the missing one - 6 letters - cancer?

Answer is 'cancer' (I tried any six letter signs that we hadn't figured out!)

Number 9 is Matthew Stafford from the Los Angeles Rams.

Trouble is, I'm useless at this quiz, but I enjoy seeing everyone else working it out

I'm thinking Stripes might have something to do with flags but not sure what yet...

No 5 is counties that they share borders with I think

Algeria shares borders with 7 countries , Costa Rica 2

Good call Racingadmin .....I've been looking up so many lists of countries (populations density, wealth, size, etc) but couldn't get anything to fit!

Is the countries one not just alphabetical? So the missing answer is japan? That might be too easy though 😳

For info the 'title' of the puzzle at the top is usually a bit of a clue and the number in brackets is the number of letters &/or numbers in the answer

Yes I’d say add up the stripes which form part of a flag. So eg 7 8 9 is the Irish flag. 34 35 36 is the Belgian flag. there’s also france 27 28 29 and italy 39 40 41 in there. I may have missed some…

Yep - Ireland, the green white green is Nigeria so add 11, 12, 13.
