Am I just knackered or is there a ghost of a line?

I know, I know, I need to wait a couple of days and do another test, but anyone who has been on the IVF rollercoaster knows that many of us take leave of our senses in the two-week-wait!

As my tests have just been delivered, I had an impulse to try one, even though it's only 4 days after embryo transfer (5 day blast). It's not my first pee of the day either. But I'm sure I can see the ghost of a line?

For transparency I'm going to add at this point that after 4 cycles of IVF we were lucky enough to have our little girl. This is our last embryo and if it doesn't work, we know how lucky we are to be parents at all. It would be like winning the lottery twice!

But . . . maybe it's possible?

Yep that's a line. But (and I know this well after my own IVF journey so this is said so kindly!!) remember there is the risk of trigger shot hangover. Keeping absolutely everything crossed for you that it is a real line. I got my feint positive at 7dp5dt. Xx

No trigger shot, @October2020 - this was a FET, however I completely understand and agree with your note of caution, I've had several unsuccessful pregnancies so very much take things day by day.

However, today I feel like there's a chance, and that's good enough for now!

Defo something there. You can take another test tonight and see if it’s slightly clearer (just because I know waiting until morning is torture!).

I remember getting the same on that make of test, taking it apart, holding it up to the light, a window, anything.

The resulting two year old is currently nicking my crips.

There's a definite line there, but try to wait it out a few days before testing again (or wait for your blood test). Coming from someone who tested obsessively after my embryo transfer, had a faint line which didn't get darker and turned out to be a chemical. 2nd time I didn't test at all and waited for the call and that one stuck! Good luck, keep us updated!

I can see a line too. I’d go to the shop and buy one of those cheap stock ones too as the brands all have different sensitivity levels

Good luck, OP - I can see it. It's brought back memories of our IVF. I got a strong, clear positive 7 days post 5 day blastocyst transfer. so you're not too much before me. She's now 7:-) Hoping your outcome is just as successful.

I see a line

I can see it. And they’re always fainter in photos. It’s enough of a line that it would have me pawning a kidney to invest in a million more tests to frantically pee on and examine over a very sane next 48 hours.
