Am I just knackered or is there a ghost of a line?

I know, I know, I need to wait a couple of days and do another test, but anyone who has been on the IVF rollercoaster knows that many of us take leave of our senses in the two-week-wait!

As my tests have just been delivered, I had an impulse to try one, even though it's only 4 days after embryo transfer (5 day blast). It's not my first pee of the day either. But I'm sure I can see the ghost of a line?

For transparency I'm going to add at this point that after 4 cycles of IVF we were lucky enough to have our little girl. This is our last embryo and if it doesn't work, we know how lucky we are to be parents at all. It would be like winning the lottery twice!

But . . . maybe it's possible?

If that photo was taken in time and not hours later, then it's 100% a line. Hopefully you're still earlyDPO because it's vvvvv.faint but it's there. This looks exactly like mine at 8DPO with DS2

I can't actually believe this could happen - I feel alternating excitement and happiness and hope, and then massive guilt because it feels so greedy to want another baby when one was beyond our wildest dreams at one time.

Truly a rollercoaster. But today I might be pregnant and I'm going to hug that little ray of hope close!

There was a bit of weird mumsnet glitch just now, @usernamenotaccepted - I've just been able to post the tests I did a few minutes ago. It was really odd.

Maybe the universe telling me not to get too excited . . . Blush

I can never see the faint lines but I could see the morning one and definitely see the evening one! Congratulations!

Hey! Looks just like my line did on the evening of 4dp5dt. Congratulations! I did a clearblue digital the morning of 5dp5dt and it came up positive so maybe worth getting one of those (not the one with the weeks on) xx
