Evri - delayed parcel. Am I going to receive it??

Ordered a parcel 8 days ago. Evri were meant to deliver it on Friday but they updated the tracking to say the delivery had been delayed and they would try to deliver it the next working day. Today is the next working day and the parcel isn’t out for delivery. Has this happened to anyone else? Did you receive your parcel? I’m worrying they’ve lost it :(

Oh no. Reading this thread after getting an email from evri to let me know my asos parcel has been delayed. Hmm

There's another similar thread I posted this on earlier but putting here as well- I suspect there is some major theft going on in their depots, especially of items that have the branding on the packaging. I ordered some Nike trainers a month ago which are still stuck as "theres been a delay" on the tracking and no further update since 10th Nov! Was unable to contact evri other than the useless chat bot. I spoke to Nike who were mega helpful, had a good moan about Evri and they refunded me within a couple of days. I re ordered the trainers for collection and that went via DPD and I got then quickly. It truly is running the gauntlet with Evri and it's annoying you cant tell who the delivery service are until after you've ordered!

Have you tried using What Three Words on your delivery instructions?

The other courier companies know where I live. Using the newsagents who are 3-10 minutes walk away means they have absolutely no excuse to lie about delivery of any parcels.

FFS the nearest newsagent is an Evri drop off point. So it's part of the route.

I should have received an Evri parcel on Wednesday. No sign. The app didn't update till Thursday, when it said they would deliver the next working day. Friday came and went, nothing. Contacted the retailer via Twitter yesterday. No response. My partner went downstairs at 10pm last night and noticed something on the doorstep. Yep, there it was. Hadn't rung the bell, or knocked. App still says it will be delivered the next working day.

A bravura performance all round Hmm. I'm feeling quite lucky I've got it though having read these stories. A hard yes to whoever said it should be mandatory for retailers to show who their courier is before we place an order.

I'm waiting for an Evri parcel. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday but I had an email saying they couldn't deliver as there was an issue accessing the property, well I was home all day so that's bollocks.

I use to think it was "funny" in the days before Amazon logistics, that all my expensive Amazon parcels would be sent by Royal Mail while the cheap stuff was divided into multiple parcels to be delivered by Hermes. No need to guess which parcels went missing...

Hermes can change their name but not their level of service.

I contacted the retailer and they are going to give Evri a push.

By the length of the queue I suspect lots of parcels have not been delivered. So if Evri have lost or stolen it (though they would be disappointed what's in it) they are going to resend it.

I'm also in this situation. Parcel due on the 2nd and still saying delayed today (7th). I have heard that all the couriers are struggling and behind with loads as a result of the impact from the RM strikes so am hoping it is this and it will turn up by the end of the week. It's from the USA so I won't be able to replace before xmas anyway so am not going to waste my time chasing it yet when it won't change much. It is what it is.

I've never had a problem with Evri at all in the past so still hoping it's related to a backlog and isn't lost.

£4.50 for delivery on a specific date (it's a dress for a night out) and still not here

This happened to me they said it would be delivered on a Thursday 7-9pm which seemed odd, it didn’t come and when they updated the tracking it said they tried to deliver it and would try again next working day. Didn’t hear anything then got a message on Monday that we’re going to deliver then at the time they usually do and it turned up.

My Evri story is a bit weird. First they were joyfully waiting for my parcel, then there was a delay. It’s still showing as being delayed. They delivered it 40 minutes after informing me it was delayed.

I've got a parcel that's "on its way" since October..there's a delivery photo of it and everything though

I’ve got 4 missing parcels all being delivered with Evri. All ongoing since November and the tracking never updates. I have just emailed the ceo asking them to investigate where they are. Let’s see if I get a response.

My three remaining missing parcels are all Royal fucking Mail, from mid November. Evri are starting to seem rather efficient in comparison.

I've had this with 4 parcels so far. One stated it was delayed due to weather...no bad weather was here when it was due. The other 3 have apparently been lost! One retailer refunding apparently and im still waiting and the other has replaced and.. you guessed it im still waiting. Not what we need before Christmas. I'm annoyed there is no way to speak to them other than a bloody robot!! I hate evri deliveries!
