Evri - delayed parcel. Am I going to receive it??

Ordered a parcel 8 days ago. Evri were meant to deliver it on Friday but they updated the tracking to say the delivery had been delayed and they would try to deliver it the next working day. Today is the next working day and the parcel isn’t out for delivery. Has this happened to anyone else? Did you receive your parcel? I’m worrying they’ve lost it :(

Hi OP sorry to hear you still haven't received your package, have you emailed the ceo yet?
I used this one recently and his team got back to me and delivered my package within days despite the company sending telling me it was lost [email protected].

I hate when I see that Evri are the courier. I shop a lot online and sometimes it's unavoidable. I'd say about 90% of my deliveries have been late, gone missing etc

Also I should add I had used that email when they were hermes but it still works now they are evri.
When they lost my hermes package years ago they told me exactly where it had been sent (different locations in England and Scotland) and they were honest unlike the manager I'd chatted to on live chat who threw their advisor under the bus who had told me there was a problem but the manager insisted it would be delivered next day.
It was 2 weeks after that I emailed the ceo office and I had my package a few days later.

I sold something on vinted, collected by Evri on 5 November, arrived at buyers house on 25 November. I had one vinted Evri purchase turn up several months later, as did one of my own buyers.

I would give it up as lost, go for a refund, and then if it does turn up , thats great.

I have a parcel with them they received it on the 3th from the seller yet they still haven’t sent it to me, just says “we got it” dated 13th!

I had a parcel delayed with Evri last month. In the end it came 2 weeks late! I emailed the CEO and the customer service team got in contact with me and the parcel got delivered. The email address I used was [email protected]. The customer service contacted me off this email address: [email protected] (not sure if it will let you contact them direct?)
Apparently our local depot is overwhelmed with parcels atm and they're really behind.

Happened to me last week. It was supposed to be next day delivery. According to the tracking app the parcel was at the sorting hub for days and then at the delivery depot for another 24 hours before it was finally delivered a week late.

Update - parcel still hasn’t arrived! I’ve had a refund issued. I suspect it might have been stolen 🙄

How the government could do something to understand many people's lives. Make it the law that you should know the parcel carrier before you pay for anything online. Hermes/Evri would soon be out of business or have to up their game.

Same has happened to me 3 times. Money refunded after a while with no explanation as to where parcels were. Frustrating.

I'm so tired of Evri! It's also absolutely impossible to contact them! Does anyone know a contact email/number etc?

Every single parcel I've ordered in the last 6 months (that's delivered by Evri) has been out for delivery and then swiftly delayed the day its due to be delivered. Every one. Every single one of my daughters birthday presents ended up coming weeks later. It never updates from delayed on the tracking system either, sometimes it'll be a week later I'll randomly receive a parcel or sometimes it's a few days later. So very frustrating especially paying for next day delivery. I know if a company uses Evri, next day delivery will be a waste of money because it won't be delivered next day. I wish companies would stop using their services!!

(Ordered Christmas presents and what do you know, supposed to be delivered today and both have been updated to 'delayed'.) Hope it arrives soon OP. Xox

They are absolute rubbish here I've had to chase 3 parcels using their online message - I never get an answer but the package mysteriously appears the next day or so

I ordered a ninja multi cooker and on the 18th November had a message from Evri saying my parcel was delayed and they would deliver next day, waited for a week then contacted QVC who asked if I wanted refund or replacement, ordered replacement, same message again from Evri , this parcel has also been delayed, found out today as I messaged Evri that they’ve lost first parcel, so I’m expecting the same reply for the second one, how can they lose 2 big packages ? I’ve since ordered another one from Ninja themselves, let’s wait and see if I receive that one ,
I think yours has been lost, Evri are ridiculous,
ordered off Lakeland, was told by Evri my order was being delivered today, not arrived, hopefully tomorrow

I had this. Fancy Charlotte Tilbury makeup with their logo on the box. It got refunded by the company but its annoying as it was on sale.

I’ve got three parcels with them all delayed since Saturday due to road traffic accident . I don’t want to chase for refunds as I really need the items and don’t want the hassle of them having to organise returns of the items if they do show up after I’ve had a refund .

In my area our Evri depot has been ram raided so a lot of packages have gone missing. Can't fault my local driver though, he's ace and really trustworthy.

Evri is an abomination. I am waiting for a delivery but have had the dreaded email telling me there is a delay. Needless to say the promised contact the next working day has not happened despite it now being the end of the third working day. And the web chat "help" option simply bleats the message saying there is a delay. Had I known Evri was the courier I would not have placed the order. I have contacted the retailer to complain.

We had a similar situation with a high value item, never turned up, got a refund. And purchased elsewhere.

The traffic accident line is bullshit - I'm a retailer and have had several 'RTAS' listed on customers tracking this week all over the country. Unless there's carnage on the roads everywhere this week I'm pretty sure they're lying.

Should say also all three parcels were due on different days and the first one has been delayed for 10 days due to a RTA. Then the other two parcels days later also delayed due to RTA . There is no accident
