What do you eat straight from the packet even if you shouldn't?

I mean things that are designed to be prepared in some way before consuming.

I've discovered hot chocolate spoons from Home Bargains that are quite nice stirred into hot milk but even better eaten as they are. They're so minty. It isn't a very cost efficient way of using them as you don't get that much chocolate but they're so good.

Also ramen. I have been known to eat some of the noodles dry.

I have been known to make half batches of my brownie recipe, just so I can eat all the batter with a spoon😁

Now I want some brownie batter.

I do occasionally enjoy tomato soup when it's cold.

Omg I thought I was the only one!! DP can't bear it, he thinks it's vile, but it's sooooo good.

Heinz baked beans but only Heinz 😊

workingeverysingkeday · 19/11/2022 18:16

Mushy peas from the tin
I have been known to suck sausage meat out of the skin. Yes I know that's pretty stupid.

Riapia · 19/11/2022 18:41

Jus-rol pastry

Justme10 · 19/11/2022 18:43

Sweetcorn straight from the tin

DuncanBiscuits · 19/11/2022 18:44

Sweetcorn from the tin.
Peanut butter and Nutella from the jar.
Crunchy Nut tastes best in stolen handfuls.

I am very intrigued about this - straight up like off a spoon? or sprinkled on things!?

Iguanainanigloo · 19/11/2022 19:11

Blocks of cheddar... Tastes so much better when you're just gnawing off a massive chunk out the packet 😂

Iguanainanigloo · 19/11/2022 19:12

And butter.... Could eat the whole block if I thought no one would notice

Suzi888 · 19/11/2022 19:13

Raw sausage as a child. Nice and cold straight from the fridge.

MarmiteWine · 19/11/2022 19:14

Cheese is the obvious one. But there's not really much better than a couple of spoonfuls of custard eaten cold from the tin before heating the rest of it.

Have you tried the Kellogg's crunchy nut peanut butter!?
I buy it just to eat straight out the jar with a spoon!

Slices of gherkin although when I think of it how else would they be eaten? Can't think of a meal they'd go in. But I'm addicted.
