What do you eat straight from the packet even if you shouldn't?

I mean things that are designed to be prepared in some way before consuming.

I've discovered hot chocolate spoons from Home Bargains that are quite nice stirred into hot milk but even better eaten as they are. They're so minty. It isn't a very cost efficient way of using them as you don't get that much chocolate but they're so good.

Also ramen. I have been known to eat some of the noodles dry.

Some of these are totally mainstream (Nutella from a jar) and some are totally wild (raw sausages)!

When I was a child I remember being very partial to play doh. I must have been about 6 or 7 when I got a set of seven full sized tubs for my birthday - it was when they introduced the purple, green and orange to the standard pink, blue, yellow and white. They were all gone within a month 😳

Some were tastier than others - I can't recall my favourite but I know white was the worst!

Hotdogs straight from the tin, drain off brine first.

tatteddear · 13/03/2023 22:59

Raw mince. And yes I know it's highly risky but I can't resist it.

tatteddear · 13/03/2023 23:02

And hot chocolate powder on a spoon.

I use Bovril as a spread on toast but I don't think that's so uncommon.

Marzipan. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

You can buy a yummy chocholate coated from Aldi and Lidl every now and then. It's amazing!!

Apple crumble mix and jelly cubes.

Apple crumble mix! Oh yes! Often eat so much of it, that I need to make more to cover the apples.

Raw pastry

Just rol, somehow addictive ?! I can't stop chewing on it either. Batter or cake mix too.

TortolaParadise · 13/03/2023 23:42

BasketFlowers · 13/03/2023 23:46

Sweetcorn from a tin.

Mozzarella ball from the bag.

foxlover47 · 14/03/2023 00:13

@tatteddear me too with the spoonful of Cadbury's hot choc powder
When I was little I used to give the dog one of them dry biscuits shaped
Like bones and then take one for myself too

CheeseMeltCracker · 14/03/2023 00:23

Tartar sauce. Neat.
Frozen white bread.

CheeseMeltCracker · 14/03/2023 00:23

Not together.

0uck · 14/03/2023 00:27

Ramen, I smash it up and eat it like crisps.
I'm also fan of a quick nibble of stock cube granuals before throwing them in.

Sweetleaves · 14/03/2023 00:33

Cookie dough

RicherThanYews · 14/03/2023 00:40

Raw mange tout, bloody lovely.

ETref · 14/03/2023 00:49

Some of these are insane 🤯

I can't wrap my head around someone putting a raw sausage anywhere near their mouth, let alone eating it.

Tbf I don't do anything like this. I think I've probably had a spoonful of Nutella out of the jar once or twice, that's about as risqué as I get. Maybe I should live a little and try some raw noodles.

I am partial to a bit of marzipan but I had no idea that it is unusual to eat it by itself. I thought that was the standard way to eat marzipan 😂

Jelly cubes straight from the packet 😋

Back in the 80s I used to get 2 jelly cubes in my packed lunch on Fridays as a treat!

Rustyhandlebars · 14/03/2023 00:55

Ravioli

mathanxiety · 14/03/2023 00:58

Barilla dry tortellini
Chocolate chips

mathanxiety · 14/03/2023 00:59

And sweetened condensed milk straight from the tin.

rubydoobydoo · 14/03/2023 01:02

Horlicks powder - reminds me of the Horlicks tablets that chemists used to sell that way!

I'm another fam of raw supernoodles - it only works with the full fat ones though.

Nutella, and my more recently discovered Biscoff spread, are not allowed in the house as I am not safe around either!

CaramelJones · 19/11/2022 18:07

Oooh I eat Super Noodles dry, straight from the packet!

I feel better now that I know I'm not alone.

Do you mean you break a little bit off and have a nibble (cos surely everyone's done that) or are we talking eating the whole block? This question is to both of you! 😁

Mentalpiece · 14/03/2023 06:32

Uncooked pork mince on a buttered roll.
Raw chopped liver.
Plain Weetabix dipped in a mug of hot chocolate and eaten like a biscuit.

marshmallowsforbreakfast · 14/03/2023 07:38

I am honestly flabbergasted! I don't think I've done a single one of these!
