spent the night away with some friends and noticed that they did. I understand if you wear knickers instead of pyjamas although I tend to go alfresco.
so unless you’re wearing a pad maybe, why would you?

Definitely, I wash pj bottoms after 2 washes so clean knickers are an essential for me. I’m surprised how many people sleep nude. I’d find that so uncomfortable for a whole night not to mention the amount of bed linen changes it must generate , but each to their own .

When one of my friends turn round I could see the top of the knickers over the pyjamas. Do you really need details like this to understand how I knew

No, but I don't tend to wear jammies - I wear big t shirt type things.

No, I read once that it's important to let the air get to your lady bits and not wear knickers 24 hours a day. I shower and wash before bed and changes pjamas every couple of days

No. I wear knickers all day. I like to feel free at night! So I usually wear t shirts/nighties with nothing on the bottom. Although I do like the m&s sleep knickers, they are super comfy.

Maybe they wore knickers because they were in the presence of others (who notice these things) in their nightwear but normally wouldn't?

A pair underneath, a pair over the top of the pyjamas bottoms to make sure they stay on, and a pair in the bedside cabinet for emergencies.

I do because I don’t wash my pyjamas every night. If you don’t wear knickers, I’m guessing you would wash your pjs each day?

I don’t wear pjs, only nighties but if I did then yes I would. You wash your knickers after one wear but maybe not your pj’s?

Always wear pants and pjs. Gross not to unless you're washing your pjs every night in which case that's excessive use of water and energy!

I've always worn pants and incidentally never had thrush or gynae problems as some people suggest is the cause!

I always put a fresh pair of knickers on before my PJs when I wear them. Sometimes I just wear knickers, no PJs. Knickers have a gusset, pyjamas don't and I don't fancy a front wedgie. Also, a pair of knickers takes up less space in the washing than PJ bottoms.
