I’m recovering from covid and I’ve been quite ill. I’ve actually gone an entire week without eating anything. I have fresubin to make up the calories but still.

Anhway, I really danced some pickled onion monster munch. So I got some. And I could taste it. Just.

So I had another. And another.

In the end, I had five packets. I felt good. I ate something!!

Then I realised my mistake. I have a sore now on my bottom left gum. Another one on the bottom right gum. And the skin has peeled away on my tongue.

Damn those crisps. Still have 4 left but I will eat those in moderation and scoff bags of cheesy balls instead.

Beef flavour wotsits are what you need.

And not the skinny fuckers.

The giant ones Grin

Reading this thread to DS, through tears of laughter, and he didn’t know about beef wotsits. He has tasked himself with sourcing and eating several bags full.
He reckons he could eat a bath tub full of cheesy balls.

@TheGirlWhoLived

Yes! Where have the ready salted chipsticks (in the red packets) gone? I still look for them in a forlorn fashion in random shops - hoping one day they will be there.

Tesco’s and the Co-Op sell them. I regularly buy them and share a bag with DS. Otherwise I’d eat the lot in one go and feel slightly sick. Wouldn’t put me off though.

@WeisheitNurInWahrheit those are the very ones! Goodness, I haven't seen those for many a year.

I've never had burger rings but Spar (I think?) did burger bites. The petrol station sold them at 39p a bag and they were puff balls of salty burgery flavour. So bad they were good.

Our local shop sells burger bites which DS loves. I tried them and no, not for me. The taste just wasn't there.

I recently discovered the joy of Torres Hot Paprika crisps, they come in a big family-sized bag. The paprika is unevenly distributed, so you sometimes get a series of really, really spicy crisps coated in flavouring which burn the roof of your mouth off. Pure heaven.

They’re OK, but the Coop ones are better 🙂
