What is your favourite and least favourite month and why?

My favourite is May...I love it, weather is warming up but not too hot, longer evenings, it's full of promise.

Least favourite is December, dark evenings, too much to do and expensive..I'm not a huge fan of Christmas, only bother for the children.

How about you?

I absolutely love September. The summer is ending ( don't like the summer) the light is softer and everything is just gorgeous.
Loathe January. It's cold and endless. Everyone is broke and on a diet. Hate it.

Love December! It's so magical. Hate January, its so depressing

Favourite month is September. The weather's usually not to bad, I love the changing colours and the smell of autumn.
Least favourite probably January. Its just so long and everyone's skint.

Favourite would be December - I love having the Christmas tree up
I haven’t got a least favourite .

Favourite is May, least favourite September. I quite like January and I love October.

Favourite October - love the autumn and cooler weather but not too cold. Halloween and spooky stuff I love. Starting to get excited about Xmas. Lots of good TV series come back on around this time.
Worst January - Xmas has passed, nothing exciting happens, weather awful, long time until summer. You have hopes for a better year and those hopes get slashed by the end of January when you you realise it's just the same as last year 😂

I love October. I like the cooler weather, the autumn leaves, the colours, the atmosphere leading up to Halloween and bonfire night.

I dislike December - January. Dark mornings, freezing cold, snow and ice, and the stress of Christmas.

October is my least favourite, when I was working it got really depressing that it was starting to go dark by 6.00pm & knowing that it will only get worse until December 21.

I love October when we finally leave behind the endless bloody summer, when it’s dark early and there’s flamboyant colours on trees and mist and cobwebs on shrubs. It’s magical. I love autumn and winter and January and Christmas!

My least favourite is July but any summer month.

Favourite is July. Just always associate it with being warm and happy and generally try for a holiday or something from work around then and DH often off at the end too. Also do really enjoy December as a sucker for all things festive, just prefer the warmer summer weather.
Least favourite probably January. Generally cold, skint and miserable weather - but currently pregnant and due DC2 in January, so looking forward to this next one at least.

December is my favourite because I LOVE Christmas!

January is my least favourite because I’m depressed the holiday season is over 😆 ! Kinda kidding but I honestly do feel a sadness that Christmas is over, the days are so short and I feel yucky from overeating. I don’t have anything special in January. Every other month of the year has a special day or something to look forward to but after New Years Day there isn’t anything for me until February.

My favourite is April because it's the first full month of spring. We have (usually) the Easter weekend, lambing time, daffodils and tree blossom and longer days and higher temperatures. My least favourite is November because it's dark and miserable. The trees are bare, the leaves are rotting and smelly. The ground is muddy and bonfire night(s) is noisy and smoky. I really don't like November.

Favourites May and October. I love spring and autumn and the changing seasons.

Dislike august - it’s always too warm and muggy,
and just doesn’t seem to have a purpose. It just drags.
Dislike Jan for the same reason as everyone else!

Fave - June - starting to see some decent warm weather. Worst - Feb - the cold months have really dragged by then and we're usually still getting snow plus no chance to go away for warmer weather because everywhere else is cold too.

Favourite month is May. Weather getting nicer, lots of bank holidays. Spring is my favourite season.

January least favourite, it's freezing and dark and no one has any money. This coming January is looking especially grim! February isn't great either but it's a shorter month and also my lovely DC birthday.

LOVE Christmas and also love summer.. but almost love the build up and anticipation more than the event for both, so I basically love every month but favourites:

September - have hopefully had a great summer and I know the countdown to Christmas is on
December - because Christmas
August - usually sunny and happy
November - Christmas is creeping in
May - summer on the horizon after all the dark / cold

June and July are the best. Lovely light nights and warmer weather. I need this to stay physically and mentally well. This year was finally a great summer and I really enjoyed it. November, December, January and February are the worst. I just want to sit in a corner and eat carbs now. October and March are slightly better but still not great. It's dark too early now. April, May, August and September are better but not as good as the mid summer time. I'd happily skip Christmas in exchange for nice weather and light nights all year round.

Favourite is June. It's summer and my birthday month.
Least is Jan/Feb. I love the changes to the seasons but winter and dark nights seem to go on forever in late Jan/early Feb and there is no Christmas or holidays to look forward to.

Every month has its charms but May is my favourite, the weather, the green, the light ❤️

June is my favourite. It’s my birthday month, the start of summer in Scotland & just seems nice.

I detest November. It’s such an unlucky month for my family. We lost my papa & gran that month. I had an ectopic pregnancy that month. We always have some form of tragedy 😔
