My favourite is May...I love it, weather is warming up but not too hot, longer evenings, it's full of promise.

Least favourite is December, dark evenings, too much to do and expensive..I'm not a huge fan of Christmas, only bother for the children.

How about you?

December is my favourite. Love Christmas and the dark, cold nights broken up by fairy lights.

I don't dislike any month.

HighlandPony · 19/10/2022 19:22

January. Because I’m skint from Christmas, the vans due it’s MOT, my insurance is due as is my tax and national insurance bill and my dad, oh and one of my nephews are all born in the same bloody day

lemonyfox · 19/10/2022 19:22

Love December. Christmas, birthdays, annual leave, time off at the same time with my husband, food....

Dislike January, it's always a slog going back to work after Christmas!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 19/10/2022 19:23

Hate January- cold, dark, broke, christmas never living up to the hype- trying to still organise kids presents in my limited space house
love July- warm, light evenings, my boss is soon to go away for a month!!!

FindingMeno · 19/10/2022 19:24

I'm exactly the same as you, op, with my choices.

Keyansier · 19/10/2022 19:25

Hate January and July, love May and December

Moonlightdust · 19/10/2022 19:27

Favourite months (I couldn’t pick 1!): March (signals start of Spring), June (Warmer weather!), August (I love the feel of late Summer days) and December (I love the festive build up to Christmas).

Least favourite: January - I hate it.

Derrymum123 · 19/10/2022 19:30

Hate January, cold and miserable, but love August, summer holidays and nicer weather.

Lotusflower16 · 19/10/2022 19:30

I love May too.
My least favourite is January when everything is so depressing!

mamabear715 · 19/10/2022 19:30

Jan & Feb. It's bloody cold & miserable, my birthday is in Jan & no-one ever wanted to celebrate. Always wanted a summer birthday.
Fave is May, with new blooms & all the promise of summer to come. :-)

Cloud9Amy · 19/10/2022 19:33

Love October - all the autumn colours, the crisp mornings, spooky stuff on tv etc

Hate January - the come down after Christmas, feeling skint and have a few family birthdays too!

Wazzzzzuuuuuuup · 19/10/2022 19:33

When I'm PM (any day now, the way things are going 😉) I'm going to revert to a Roman calendar, but sack off November and January.

April is my favourite month. Springtime, flowers, baby lambs, lighter nights, usually Easter. Everything is getting better and there are still so many lovely things to look forward to.

Abra1t · 19/10/2022 19:34

Hate November and February
love June the most

MissBattleaxe · 19/10/2022 19:35

January because it has 89 days and nothing to look forward to except being skint and being in darkness and the cold. I love autumn from September to December. Love the whole build up to Christmas but once Christmas morning is over it all feels very dated and depressing.

lightand · 19/10/2022 19:35

Most favourite - July. I like the heat.

Least favourite - Nov. Dark and gloomy, and lots more winter still to come.

I always say to people, if your birthday is an awkward date, change it! Have a 1/2 birthday or something. Mine wasnt awkward, but if it was, I would "alter" it.

autumnlights · 19/10/2022 20:13

I love October and November because autumn is my favourite season. I love how things begin to feel cosy but it's not yet Christmas.
I hate January because it seems to drag and I know it's another long stint until I see a lot of my family again. I'm also not a huge fan of March but I can't pinpoint why. I think it's because I'm ready for spring but winter seems to linger on at that point.

Comedycook · 19/10/2022 20:15

March is a funny month weather wise. My DC birthday is in march. One year it was snowing so badly I thought no one would be able to make his party. One year it was warm and we had a BBQ in the garden for his birthday!

I can’t really pick a favourite, I love the seasons and their differences; however, I just can’t be arsed with January either.

Rutland2022 · 19/10/2022 20:21

Love March, it’s my birthday and it starts to get lighter and it’s nearly Spring. Hate January, it’s dark and long and depressing after Christmas.

I also hate November (dark and shit) and August (bastard A Level
results and Clearing-work), also like June as it’s DD’s and DH’s birthdays and our anniversary.

balalake · 19/10/2022 20:21

No real favourite, but dislike the clocks going back, and seems November is the worst therefore.

IntentionalError · 19/10/2022 20:25

Least favourite : December. Because I hate bloody Christmas.

Favourite : June, because we always go on holiday then.

WildHorsesRunInMe · 19/10/2022 20:26

My favourite time of the year is December, I love the build up to Christmas. Least favourite would have to be January. The comedown after Christmas is always depressing for me.

AnApparitionQuipped · 19/10/2022 20:27

Favourite - July
Least - January

Leemoe · 19/10/2022 20:27

Love March and September.

Detest December.
