What one thing do you wish Aldi would sell?

Did my shopping today and Aldi. As usual, I had to go to the other supermarket next door to

To…?!

I wish they sold red bush vanilla tea bags as it’s the only tea I drink (but I realise it’s a pretty niche market) and heat protector spray. Probably loads more but they’re the 2 that I always have to go elsewhere for.

Bairnsmum05 · 16/10/2022 18:40

Single vegetables.

LunchBoxPolice · 16/10/2022 18:41

gluten free bread

vodkaredbullgirl · 16/10/2022 18:41

Pepsi max in cans.

CustardPatella · 16/10/2022 18:41

Ha ha sorry sausage fingers!
...had to go to supermarket next door to buy the things I can't get. I always see several other Aldi people in there, and wonder what they are buying.

For me it's baked crisps and tofu.

I wish it would sell things consistently

Frequently fall in love with something and never know if I'll see it again.

Oops sorry sausage fingers!

…Greek week stuff all year round? (Or is that Lidl?)

I mainly wish that they had enough stock of basic own label beans and spaghetti hoops - I need enormous quantities and they are often short stocked (for obvious reasons perhaps).

Mummysgogetter · 16/10/2022 18:44

Single vegetables.
food items consistently.
quinoa.
other more healthy food

Gluten free food. It’s ridiculously priced anyway but just being able to do a full shop without having to go to different supermarkets for gluten free things would be amazing.

Squeezyandbleach · 16/10/2022 18:44

Thin bleach

Needmorelego · 16/10/2022 18:44

Walkers Cheese and Onion crisps and their own brand version of pepsi max in cans (I've found that sometimes but it seems rare).
That's it really. Everything else I buy I can get some version of it in Aldi/Lidl.

DarkMatternix · 16/10/2022 18:47

Another vote for gluten free items - I can live without bread but crackers/biscuits/frozen pizza would be great

emmathedilemma · 16/10/2022 18:47

Tofu, plain soya yogurt and gluten free pasta. The soya yogurt they sell is lovely but laden with sugar so I only buy it occasionally for a treat.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 16/10/2022 18:47

I wish they'd start doing Dino rolls again - they were a great alternative to bear yoyos

Bread flour - my local has stopped having since they had a refurb.

They also stopped selling capers which is a pain

White rye bread

Lunchbox sized packs of mini flavoured rice cakes

Nitrite free ham and bacon

Tofu

If they stocked all of these things I wouldn't need to go to Tesco as well.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 16/10/2022 18:48

Oh - and jasmine rice

DomesticShortHair · 16/10/2022 18:49

Land Rovers. I could do with a cheap Land Rover, what with winter on the way and all that.

I saw Dino rolls on Friday at the till!

Yes!
And just more gluten free stuff generally 😩

HighlandPony · 16/10/2022 18:50

Fresh bakery like Lidl’s

If you hold on long enough I am sure one will appear in the random aisle.

Toilet cleaner- decent one like harpic black

Apple squash

Most of the time I wish Other supermarkets sold what Aldi sell!
