What’s for Sunday dinner?

Or lunch if you have your main meal on Sundays at lunchtime?
We usually have a roast as everyone likes it. Today Dh is fancying a stew but the dc won’t like it, and I’m fancying a pie but again dc wont like it! Not after a debate on the fussiness of the dc, just being nosey about what everyone else is having…

We're having a roast tonight: roast chicken legs, stuffing, roast potatoes, mash, roast parsnips, carrots and peas. And gravy, of course. 😁

DD (aged 3) is pretty fussy so will have chicken, stuffing, mash, carrots and peas. Probably with ketchup 🙄

Sirloin roast, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, carrot and parsnip, spinach, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. Followed by apple crumble.

Nut & Lentil roast, neeps and tatties. Rice pudding to follow.

Jambalaya for adults, wraps for DC. Whatever combination of prawns and/or chorizo people want with their meal. Runner beans, broccoli and cucumber on the table so everyone will eat something green. Not sure about pudding yet.

Lemon and oregano chicken thighs,roast potatoes and sauteed spinach with sugar snap peas.

Roast Pork, stuffing, roasties, mash, yorkies, stilton leeks, carrots, broccoli, cabbage and onion gravy

We've got hot dogs tonight.

Vegetable lasagne and Mary Berry's brioche frangipane apple pudding with vanilla ice cream 😋

Brisket, mashed potatoes with Savoy cabbage, sprouts and carrots. Can't wait 😀

Pesto salmon pasta bake with some greens. Apple strudel and custard for pudding.

I need to find some new recipes as everything revolves around pasta and mash at the moment

Venison casserole. In the slow cooker with half a bottle of red wine and a selection of veggies.

A takeaway curry later. Achari paneer tikka, mango chutney and a plain crispy paratha for me. Whatever poor suffering hungover DH fancies for himself.

Roast chicken, carrots, peas, roast parsnips, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, gravy.

Mince, dumplings and mash.

Roast Beef, roast potatoes & parsnips, mashed carrot & swede, broccoli, cauliflower, runner beans, yorkies and gravy. I cannot wait!! We haven’t had roast beef in months so this is a big treat. Also making sticky toffee pudding to have with cream or ice cream after.

Takeaway roast from the pub. Two of us will have pork the other two beef, with Yorkshire’s and winter veg and lots of gravy. I did plan on making toad in the hole but there was little interest!

I have two chicken fillets to use. Might make a chicken pie after reading the op

Ragu. DH hates a roast. Sad.

Home made Sage & Thyme ( from garden) Bread Stuffing made with a lot of butter.
Roast pumpkin with red onion.
Sprouting broccoli.
Roasties.

Roast chicken, honey mustard bacon, roasties, carrots, parsnips, cheesy cauliflower, stuffing and gravy.

Veggie sausage and bean casserole, just going to chuck some stuff in the slow cooker and hope for the best!!

Roast pork tenderloin quick and fairly cheap and very tasty. Rolled in herbs and garlic.
Roast cubed potatoes and carrots with thyme.

Gravy

Fillet of beef with a horseradish crumb, red wine gravy, for the non meat eaters (and the meat eaters will probably eat it too) cauliflower with a Stilton and wholemeal breadcrumb, Yorkshire's, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, green beans and leeks, followed by apple and blackberry crumble with custard or ice cream.
