Human remains, believed to be part of a child’s skull have been found on Saddleworth Moor. Please god let this be Keith Bennett. That poor child can hopefully finally be laid to rest in eternal peace with his mother.

I was wondering if there was a thread on this. I really sincerely hope its Keith and the poor lad can finally be put to rest properly.

It’s heartbreaking isn’t it greensleeves. I really hope this is him, it’s got to be, surely. Keith’s poor brother never gave up searching, hopefully the family can now get some closure. It’s just a shame Brady isn’t still alive to see his ‘game’ hasn’t been won by him. He cared so deeply about the control he had over Winnie. Evil evil man.

No worries. As you said it's also across lots of other news outlets too although I can't see it on the BBC.

The remains have been independently verified by multiple people as human and were found near to where the other victims were located so I'm keeping everything crossed that poor Keith will eventually be found.

Yes the BBC don’t appear to be running it yet. I would be amazed at this point if it wasn’t little Keith.

The local BBC lunchtime news have just been discussing it.(Im in Manchester) It's still early in the investigation- but I really hope it is Keith. Because if it isn't him- it raises more questions than it solves
