Human remains found on Saddleworth Moor

Human remains, believed to be part of a child’s skull have been found on Saddleworth Moor. Please god let this be Keith Bennett. That poor child can hopefully finally be laid to rest in eternal peace with his mother.

Poor Winnie. Those monsters deserved no privacy and his lawyer should have served time for refusing to hand everything over.

I think they have to be very careful, and rightly so.

I imagine anything they do need to verify could take time. I think the statement has been released to avoid speculation and contact with the family if GMP are seen on the Moors.

Hopefully the press will take note of their reference to Alan Bennett's request for privacy.

I sobbed my heart out when it showed on the news 😭 his poor mom searched the Moors on hands and knees digging with bare hands trying to find his body and sadly died never being able to give him a burial. Sickens me to my core how the pair of them sat in prison bragging and boasting of their crimes.
Wasn't long back DH and I watched crime investigation about little Keith and we both sat crying 😢 praying that it's him and not another victim of those sick feckers

Left Saddleworth a long time ago, but I often think of Keith and his mum Winnie. I do so hope it's him.

I live in the area, often go over Saddleworth Moor and think of those children whenever I do. I hope its Keith and he can be finally placed where his family choose his last resting place to be.

Praying that it's poor Keith. So, so sad it's too late for his poor mum.

I do hope it is young Keith and not another poor little child -
But if it is him - I always thought he would be found at one point if he was on those Moors.

That poor little lad, my thoughts are with his brother and family today.

I read that Ian Brady lured Keith into his van by asking him to help carry some boxes.

It goes to show that it's important we teach our children to trust their instincts and not talk to strangers. Encouraging kids to 'be kind' instead of listening to their instincts goes against all safeguarding.

Seeing this news has made me feel really odd, I don’t know why. It feels like the past and their horrendous crimes being brought in to the present. I so hope they’ve found Keith Bennet and he can finally be laid to rest with his long suffering mum. I hope that family can finally have closure.

"Mediums" are adept at convincing people they know "things only [insert person] would know". In reality, they do research beforehand, or make educated guesses, or make vague statements that their customers latch onto in desperation. They prey on the vulnerable and bereaved.

I like to believe there's an afterlife, and Keith was reunited with his mum on her death, while Brady and Hindley are burning in hell.

When I see the interviews with his mother, my heart breaks. The poor woman, all those years and dying without closure. The pain she lived with is unimaginable.

You can only pray he’s finally been found and can be laid to rest with her.

Were the child's remains found in one of the places Brady took the police to when he was having a lovely day out torturing others trying to help find Keith?
