The Queens funeral

This is a real good guide for all the timings for tomorrow - www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-60617519

The bit at the end with the Lord Chamberlain will be the hardest to watch I think, signaling the end of his service to her, as will the act of separating her from her crown.

I know everyone isn't a royalist but today will be such a sad occasion.

Where does everyone go after? Is there a wake?

MossGrowsFat · 19/09/2022 12:07

Prince George and Princess Charlotte, I can't seem to find the words I want to describe them. I think it was the right, but brave choice, to take them.

HeidiWhole · 19/09/2022 12:07

I feel a bit sorry for Princes William & especially George watching all that. It's not a life I would choose

ApolloandDaphne · 19/09/2022 12:07

That was a beautiful service.

OhMerde · 19/09/2022 12:07

Blimey, this organ music sounds dreadful. Like Les Dawson is playing it.

Neowwwm · 19/09/2022 12:08

God save the King is very jarring to me, its the thing that hits the most that the Queen has gone.

Andante57 · 19/09/2022 12:08

I wish the pp hadn’t said that one of the bearers was having difficulty holding it together! I will be watching even more nervously now.

Rapidtango · 19/09/2022 12:08

The Piper at Prince Philip's funeral was incredibly poignant too.

Internment service at Windsor for the royals

miserablecat · 19/09/2022 12:08

I hope the spider behaves and doesn't crawl on one of the pall bearers 😱

MrsTimRiggins · 19/09/2022 12:08

The bagpipes fading away 😭

MissMarplesNiece · 19/09/2022 12:08

The pipes have been so beautiful. I cried when I listened to the massed pipes as the gun carriage was being pulled to The Abbey.

OhAmBackAgain · 19/09/2022 12:08

the organ playing is awful 😖

Bouledeneige · 19/09/2022 12:08

Probably the last time anyone sings god save the Queen.

OhMerde · 19/09/2022 12:08

Harry very clearly wasn't singing the National Anthem.

spanieleyes · 19/09/2022 12:09

There is now a procession to Westminster Arch, then a drive to Windsor and another service there!

Horrific.

It’s killing the mood.

Anyone alive today yes

JustLyra · 19/09/2022 12:09

Beatrice and Eugenie seem to have left their rows - I wonder if they’ve gone to get their children perhaps?

Or maybe too upset to walk down

bendmeoverbackwards · 19/09/2022 12:09

What about everyone else? Are they offered food and drink?

TheIsaacs · 19/09/2022 12:09

I wonder where the York princesses have gone

Yes, I noticed that.

StarCourt · 19/09/2022 12:09

What a difficult stressful time it must be for those bearers
