It was inevitable but in this I feel very sorry for his siblings and daughters.

Charles will need to be very careful. If he gets this wrong then the goodwill which he has experienced so far will dissipate very quickly

Personally I feel no goodwill at all towards him, but whatever there is could dissipate even quicker if Andrew has anything to tell and gets offended enough to tell it

After all briefing against each other is nothing new in the RF, and their mum's no longer around to be upset by anything Andrew may or may not choose to say

Let's not forget Jimmy Savile was a favourite of the Royals too - but keep on boot-licking 🙄

Plenty of people were oblivious to Jimmy saville hence why he was on telly the whole time.

Re Andrew, he's a total sleaze and perv. I still think that heckler was a right idiot to disrupt the procession because it didn't just upset Andrew in isolation. Other people were there, it's disrespectful to the queen, and to other family members, not appropriate.

Actually, many people were aware of Saville’s predilections.
The fact that this man was allowed to mix with the Royal family is a crying shame
In the coming months and years all the secrets will emerge

Hbh17 · 12/09/2022 21:06

He's not a child abuser and he is not a convicted criminal. He is certainly a man of very poor judgement and an embarrassment to his family. However, he is fully entitled to be with his family to mourn his mother. (In fact, even the most hardened criminal is entitled to that).

diddl · 12/09/2022 21:07

However that appalling display when he was looking at the flowers - do big waves ( last to one stop every time) and that Namaste bow.

Absolutely.

Trying to engage with the public.

He has no idea of how to behave appropriately does he?

cherrysthename · 12/09/2022 21:07

What democratically, can we do to challenge having a royal family in this day and age. Surely a RF which is in cahoots with protecting sex offenders isn't right.

Shouting truths is.

So the next time someone trying to lose weight is upset because a white van man shouts "fatty" at her whilst jogging, it's not harassment because it's true and it's free speech. Got it.

What a country we have become.

I'm not sure they're entitled to parade theough the streets, ay public expense, to do it. Of course he should quietly attend the funeral, but this?

BigHoots · 12/09/2022 21:08

OMG the way he ran his hand over her bum is f*#%ing disgusting. After seeing this, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more skeletons in the closet.

MooFroo · 12/09/2022 21:09

Arnaquer · 12/09/2022 17:35

I'm not surprised, I was a bit taken aback to see him waving and wafting around earlier as if everything about him has been forgotten. He needs to crawl back under his stone.

Agree!
my teenage DD showed me the photo of his stroking his daughter while comforting her - may have been innocent but looked wrong given the last few years!

Have the police ever taken any action because someone was called fatty, from a distance in the street?

totally agree there
he is blind to it all

lightisnotwhite · 12/09/2022 21:11

Sophie didn’t even acknowledge himI think. He spoke to her whilst she was knelt down by the flowers and it looked like she blanked him. I don’t think Andrew gets it but the other royals do,

JammyThing · 12/09/2022 21:12

Lampzade · 12/09/2022 20:38

Absolutely
In the words of Ronald Reagan They ‘ ain’t seen nothing yet’

What are you anticipating?

roolz · 12/09/2022 21:13

If you think the royals didn't know JS had been accused multiple times of sexual abuse you're very naive.

That's fine, I'm a lot younger than you, so not aware. Thank you for letting me know @lemmein

theunwashed · 12/09/2022 21:13

That heckler should never have been arrested for shouting a fact in a public place. If you think he's a twat for his timing so be it and I would be inclined to agree, but there should be nothing illegal about stating an opinion publicly.

HouseOfGuineas · 12/09/2022 21:17

Imagine if he tried that on Zara - reckon she would have lamped him one or just very discretely put his arm back whilst breaking his fingers.

vera99 · 12/09/2022 21:18

Must be approaching peak nonsense surely?

Shock
HouseOfGuineas · 12/09/2022 21:20

I liked that sketch and now it’s been ruined for me. That’s gonna look awful when the hair grows back😭Is it treasonous?

EscapeRoomToTheSun · 12/09/2022 21:21

He is a vile specimen and should have remained in hiding. This attempt at his rehabilitation will be the death of the monarchy.

vera99 · 12/09/2022 21:22

Is it grounds for divorce?

JustCleaningtheBBQ · 12/09/2022 21:24

It feels as though Andrew is exploiting the perceived goodwill of the people (that is being rammed down our throats by the BBC - which is now almost unwatchable). That hand clasp thank you gesture he did to the crowd yesterday was stomach churning. The arrogance that he thinks he'll be forgiven because his mother has died.

I'm really glad we've been able to hear some dissenting voices, as many people feel like this. Of course you can heckle a predator. If anyone needs to show respect it's that scumbag 'Randy Andy' (as the press used to call him) by staying away.

Ladybyrd · 12/09/2022 21:25

@vera99 Sweet baby Jesus 🤦‍♀️
