I suspect Vogue is a mumsnetter

Vogue Williams SLAMS passenger who refused to swap seats with her on plane because Vogue had booked the wrong seat.

mol.im/a/11126879

Yes, Vogue. Other people should do what you say and be disadvantaged because YOU booked the wrong seat.

She used such bad language - certainly no lady.

leopardspice · 19/08/2022 17:59

She’s on mumsnetter
because if she was she would know that other people are not responsible for moving if you don’t sort your seats out on a plane

vodkaredbullgirl · 19/08/2022 18:01

It's not as if her kids were by themselves. Anyway are you not suppose to sit in the seat you booked, in case of a crash (not that there are many)

ShaneTwane · 19/08/2022 18:01

The last thread about this was deleted.

A580Hojas · 19/08/2022 18:03

So what? Hundreds of thousands of people are.

vodkaredbullgirl · 19/08/2022 18:03

So will this 1

NippyWoowoo · 19/08/2022 18:03

Ha! I never choose a window, always an aisle, and I wouldn't swap for the queen! Only for another aisle.

She really outed herself as dim, how could you accidentally book the seats like that? They show you a map!

Also, why not swap with 'Spenny' if it was that important to her to sit next to her daughter? The planes are so tiny anyway it's barely noticeable

PutinIsAWarCriminal · 19/08/2022 18:04

I don't think she's on here. If she was she'll know that real women have no patience for disorganised entitled brats. I don't mind a bit if effing and jeffing in context, but what she said about that man, who she admits moved when she realised she had young children, was out of order. I can't believe she's in the Cambridge's circle, I wonder what they make of her?

Shrewsbury247 · 19/08/2022 18:04

The level of entitlement is staggering!
I bet Pippa is mortified on her behalf 😂😂😂

Pinkkahori · 19/08/2022 18:10

I was surprised when I read about it. She seems to have been incredibly rude. The mistake was her own fault.
My DH flies a lot for work. He always picks an aisle seat as he needs easy access to the bathroom in case of IBS flare ups. He wouldn't like to have to explain that to a stranger.

effingmarie · 19/08/2022 18:10

Me and my IBS would certainly not swap my aisle seat for her window seat. Unless she'd like to be anxiety-poo'd on.

In fact, yes it'd be worth it to shat on her hot-mummy white jeans.

FMSucks · 19/08/2022 18:18

The mask slipped today Vogue eh?! Awful self entitled behaviour.

That is true, yes. For reasons which we shan't mention, sometimes seat position is the only way to identify.

RainbowsMoonbeams · 19/08/2022 18:25

Am I the only one who has no idea who she is?!

blacksax · 19/08/2022 18:27

One would have thought that somebody that rich and famous 🤔would have a lackey to do the admin.

ChickPeaChic · 19/08/2022 18:29

hotfroth · 19/08/2022 18:24

This has been debunked several times. If the crash is bad enough that you’re unable to be identified, then you won’t still be sitting in your seat 😂

RainCloud · 19/08/2022 18:30

Why would the thread be deleted? She's gone to the mainstream media about it and outed her own bad behaviour.

OP posts:
Georgeskitchen · 19/08/2022 18:32

There did seem.to be a few posters defending her behaviour on the earlier thread so I can only imagine it was her using different accounts 🤣🤣

Not in the spirit, apparently.

I been watching too much Final Destination.

Cheerybigbottom · 19/08/2022 18:44

Twice in that article she says she's booked wrong seats and relied on strangers to swap.

She also clearly defines which seats and parts of the plane are acceptable to her, yet nobody else is allowed to express a preference for the seats they booked? (Called the fella a, "fucking particular piece of shite")

I'm actually embarassed for her that she can't see how rude and entitled she is. She chose to have 3 kids, she chose to use a plane and she chose her seats.

A little humility would go further than her abusive attitude.

Oh so my airline pilot friend is wrong then. He's a First Officer for a scandinavian airline, and that is what they were all told during their training.

RainCloud · 19/08/2022 18:45

No publicity is bad publicity. Has she got something to sell? A ghost written book or something?

OP posts:
Frolicinameadow · 19/08/2022 18:51

Did anyone listen to the podcast rather than read the dm article?
it was her husband asked the man to move and the man got arsey and responded using his name. The implication being that he assumed Spencer was asking because he’s semi famous. When he saw vogue and the kids I think he moved.
She had a little rant and moved on. You lot must be saints to never give out about anything ever. It’s a seat on a plane, not the queens thrown.

oh and she also admitted it was the fault of her manager who didn’t book them seats together.

Well I wouldn’t imagine proctor and gamble who own Fairy non-bio are very impressed with her abusive behaviour and not even having the self awareness to know she was being abusive. I really don’t think this incident will have done anything good for her career.
