Vogue Williams SLAMS passenger who refused to swap seats with her on plane because Vogue had booked the wrong seat.

mol.im/a/11126879

Yes, Vogue. Other people should do what you say and be disadvantaged because YOU booked the wrong seat.

Billoddiesbeard · 20/08/2022 09:36

Oh dear ,Vogue really mis-read the level of support she would get going public with her bratish spoilt attitude. Clearly she didn't make a mistake booking her seat she was just a cheapskate who didn't pay for her family to sit together!
The media reports about this make her sound very entitled and generally not a nice person.

Sweetmotherofallthatisholyabov · 20/08/2022 09:44

I can kind of see where she's coming from. The man didn't just say no, he said no Spencer I won't. As though he was doing it to prove a point and using Spencer's name makes me think he might have been an asshole about it.

Also there was a mistake with the booking- it's not like she showed up and expected to be accommodated. Which is what bugs me about being asked to move. It's different if an effort was made in the first place.

But the way she reacted was wildly inappropriate.

to be honest my biggest issue was when she referred to the rows as aisles in the story. People should be up in arms about that.

pilates · 20/08/2022 09:45

Did she say don’t you know who I am?

True colours have certainly come out.

Angelicapickles1 · 20/08/2022 09:54

She has had week of bad publicity. She was on Lorraine doing their fashion segment saying how she only wears clothes once but is trying to wear them twice.

  1. not a good advert for her detergent
  2. hardly appealing to the audience of lorraine who can't afford to do that

Now this plane drama .....

SwedishEdith · 20/08/2022 09:55

I had to google her. Is that her real name? I find her a bit scary looking. Why wasn't she removed from the plane if she actually said this?

'Literally, the airhostess came down and I was like, 'have you got another aisle seat for this fing particular piece of se over here?'

Sonnex · 20/08/2022 09:55

I specifically book ailse seats because I'm claustrophobic so it would have been a polite no from me. I find the entitlement of some people with kids astounding and I'm sure it's getting worse. When mine were little all you were thinking about was how to keep them quiet so they didn't annoy the other passengers.

I also think there's something fishy about these kind of stories. We are a family of five, older kids, teens, so genuinely don't care where we sit. I never book seats for that reason and also because when I book there are rarely five in a row or a 3 and a 2 behind or in front to choose from. I always just let the system book it and it always (at least on EJ) puts us in a row of 5. They clearly hold back seats that aren't bookable for families. I reckon Spenny booked this and put himself away from the wife and kids and then was too scared to admit it!

Georgeskitchen · 19/08/2022 18:32

There did seem.to be a few posters defending her behaviour on the earlier thread so I can only imagine it was her using different accounts 🤣🤣

Don't be so silly. I was one of the 'defenders' (no not really - I simply provided context).

Definitely not Vogue, sadly

EarringsandLipstick · 20/08/2022 10:23

RainCloud · 19/08/2022 18:30

Why would the thread be deleted? She's gone to the mainstream media about it and outed her own bad behaviour.

Because it was laden with vile personal attacks about Vogue & her appearance in particular.

KittenKong · 20/08/2022 10:27

RainbowsMoonbeams · 19/08/2022 18:25

Am I the only one who has no idea who she is?!

I assumed the magazine or possibly a Gladiator. Why the dig at mumsnet?

MeridasMum · 20/08/2022 10:44

DaphneduM · 19/08/2022 17:56

She used such bad language - certainly no lady.

This is the most sexist thing I've heard in a long time!

SundayTeatime · 20/08/2022 11:05

MeridasMum · 20/08/2022 10:44

This is the most sexist thing I've heard in a long time!

It’d be the same if it was a man -certainly no gentleman. The swearing alone is likely to get her dropped from those “perfect family” TV ads.

lot123 · 20/08/2022 12:21

Can someone explain which seats they'd booked as I'm finding it a little confusing. They'd booked middle and window, and she was an aisle on a different row?

SnipSnipMrBurgess · 20/08/2022 12:31

Vague and her unfunny compadre Joanne with their shit podcast is the worst thing to happen to Ireland since the Famine, and I'm pretty sure it could be considered a hate crime.

Whoever gave them a platform should be shot.

EarringsandLipstick · 20/08/2022 12:34

Well loads of people love it @SnipSnipMrBurgess

Rather a strong reaction - just don't listen to it.

JenniferAllisonPhillipaSue · 20/08/2022 12:42

I had no idea who the woman was in the Fairy ads until I read this thread ... Now I still don't know who she is, but I have learnt that she is an entitled, foul-mouthed individua..

Hira3 · 20/08/2022 13:14

FredrikaPeri · 20/08/2022 07:10

No idea who she is.
What a cringey name though!
Can you imagine the baby name thread?

"I really love the following names for our baby girl, but DH isn't keen:

Vogue
Tatler
Time
Aquila

What other names might I like?"

Her real name is Joanna.

WomanStanleyWoman2 · 20/08/2022 13:15

Well loads of people love it @SnipSnipMrBurgess

Well, one thing the world ain’t short of us thickos.

NighghtmareNeighbour · 20/08/2022 13:22

I guess now we know why she uses Fairy pods (or whatever make she’s advertising), she’s needs to wash her shitty attitude away regularly.

You wouldn’t get my aisle seat love. I pay extra to make sure I’m in one. One the other hand, I guess me getting up for the loo for the millionth time (medical condition related) and you having to let me past might be worth it……

Ouch… 🤣

J0y · 20/08/2022 13:36

Her real name isn't Johanne! That was a joke, as in ''everybody expects my real name to be Johanne''.

J0y · 20/08/2022 13:38

Yeh, I know it's irrational of me but I can't stand that Johanne McNally.

I think if Vogue ever ends up the suspected ''leak'' for something to do with Pippa or the royals., the source will have been her bestie Johanne McNally.

EarringsandLipstick · 20/08/2022 13:40

Her real name is Joanna.

No, it isn't. It's Vogue

Arbesque · 20/08/2022 14:00

That's pretty shocking behaviour. Man initially refuses to move, then agrees somewhat reluctantly when he realised there were children involved, then Vogue starts name-calling him loudly to the Stewardess.

She should be ashamed of herself, not boasting about her rude ignorant behaviour.
