How long is it since YOU had a bread and butter pudding?

Just been thinking it's a while and I might make one.

Anyone know any fabulous recipes?

I have never tried it . Am I missing out ?

last Sunday, I’ve had some brown bread and cheddar cheese leftovers so did savoury bread and butter pudding. It went really well.
The sweet one probably a couple of months ago.

Must be at least 20 years. I'm not very keen on it.

Especially nice if you use brioche rolls instead of bread.

I had one in a cafe at somepoint in the last 12 months but can't remember when it was. Before then, years!

Lunchtime today! But it was a bought one from Sainsbury. Yummy! There's a lovely Delia recipe with cream that is always fab.

My DH's favourite pudding. I like it, but know it is a pudding that divides the room.
I use Gary Rhodes recipe.

Ages. I love it but it's far too calorific. I save my calories for dark chocolate or wine.

Last winter. I love them but not in warm weather.

About 40 years and that's not nearly long enough.

Never eaten more than a mouthful, it's one of my least favourite puddings.

sloppy stuff I can't stand. A firm, dark slice, I can only eat the well cooked corner pieces! Last had around 20 years ago.

I made one with hot chocolate powder mixed with the custard once, to make chocolate custard. That was nice. Can't remember if I put sultanas in or not.

Years because I can’t stand it. Hate the texture.

Made one for the kids though as they like it.

Never heard of a savoury B&B pud.

Never, I don’t like the thought of it. It’s one of very few foods I have never and would never try. Tripe is another.

About 5 years ago. I love it but DH doesn’t, so I rarely make it.
