I dunno maybe she's shocked because most people wouldn't want the endorsement of a far right fascist party with a leader charged under the Terrorism Act? (amongst many other charges).

@derxa I happen to agree with you on this. There is nothing shocking about one far right group endorsing someone else from the far right.

Explain why I am shocked by an endorsement of Britain First?

Does she support deporting some of the most vulnerable people in the country to somewhere else 1000s of miles away?

Does she support the abolition of our human rights with the proposed UK leaving of the ECHR?

Does she support the clamp down on our right to protest, including to simply make noise on the street?

If a party/group endorses a candidate then presumably they feel that candidate is the best person to promote the closest (not necessarily the identical) agenda to their own.

Otherwise why bother to endorse them?

They could have chosen to reject all of the candidates or remain silent.

Ellwood has had whip removed for not voting in Tory VONC.

Sky says there are 12 Tory MPs who didn't vote in the VONC - will they all have the Whip removed?

Penny has just dropped that Ellwood now can't vote in the leadership elections.

If they don't remove the Whip from the other non voters it rather looks like a grudge issue between Johnson & Ellwood.

Something tells me BJ is going to cause trouble from the backbenches, and if he loses his seat (which he probably will, he has a slim majority), he is going to write articles to undermind the british government whoever they are.
