Has anyone received the £365 payment from the government this morning? They said it was from 14th July but just wondering if anyone got it today.

I haven't had a note in my UC journal about it.

We don’t have a note on our journal either.

@YouLookinSusBro what did the note in your journal say if you don’t mind me asking?

Namechanger1002 · 14/07/2022 07:03

Do you get it if you are still
on tax credits?

MissMaple82 · 14/07/2022 07:05

My surname starts with A and I've not got it. If you had an award in April or May of this year you'll get it, just got to be patient

I've left a note on my UC journal asking if they know if/when I'll get it. I know I shouldn't have but I relied on getting it today and now everything is fucked

It's not fucked, why rely on something that until recently you didn't know you'd even have.

I ge esa and child tax credits and I got it, I wasn't expecting to, I read on here that only uc claimants would.

I’m on UC, not had it this morning. Those that have got it today, which benefit are you on?

Meklk · 14/07/2022 07:09

Didn't get it.
Surname K.
I'm on UC, also working PT.

I'm just wondering about message on UC journal - is it proper message or like info topic like this?
My work coach never replied to my journal and I really don't think they'll write something there unless it's automatic message sent for everyone...

I got a text about it but no UC note, I didn't get it today.

Danikm151 · 14/07/2022 07:10

They maybe doing in according to area. I haven’t received it yet

ListenLinda · 14/07/2022 07:11

@MissMaple82 Some people may be relying on it, it’s been known since April time it was coming?
I guess that’s how much the cost of living is affecting people.

ListenLinda · 14/07/2022 07:11

Has anyone on Universal Credit got it yet?

ESA

Some of you are so impatient. Given the amount of people receiving it, they've said not everyone will get it on July 14th. It'll be paid between July 14th and 31st - www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment

ListenLinda · 14/07/2022 07:12

@Meklk that’s what I had too when I log in, but nothing on my actual journal.

In fairness, although I know it doesn't help, it has been said on the mees and every article I have seen that it would start to be paid on the 14th not that everyone would get it then.

Meklk · 14/07/2022 07:13

Hmm, maybe they are paying for councils or areas? Anyone from Redbridge (London) received it?

DoubleGauze · 14/07/2022 07:14

I got a text and that journal link posted by @Meklk and I've not had the payment today. On UC and my last name is at end of alphabet. I'm sure it'll be done by the end of July.

HerRoyalHappiness · 14/07/2022 07:14

I didn't get it today but its showing as pending to enter my bank account tomorrow.

YouLookinSusBro · 14/07/2022 07:14

Fgs, just checked journal and it's just a generic note. Partner told me we had a note saying we'd get it but he's obviously misunderstood 🙄

I never usually check as I don't need to, he's the one looking for work so just relied on what he said, sorry

So maybe we're not getting it.

It's not fucked, why rely on something that until recently you didn't know you'd even have.

Why do you always take such delight at being nasty?

she's already said she knows she shouldn't have counted on it, but she has bills to pay & hoped it would arrive in time. It's HER decision to feel HER finances are fucked when it didn't arrive as she hoped.

just stop being so nasty.

Bythehairywartsonmywitchychin · 14/07/2022 07:16

This is the guidance for the payments. Cost of living payment

If you’re on UC you have to have had a UC payment for the payment period 26 April 2022 to 25 May 2022. to be entitled.

Ollybob · 14/07/2022 07:16

The info on who will get it is on the gov.uk web pages.
It also states that most people will receive the payment between 14th and 31st July so presuming there will be a few that it takes longer for them.
I'm not going to knock it, any help is good right now.
Also look at your local government web pages as they do offer other help if you're struggling.

ListenLinda · 14/07/2022 07:17

UC will be a hard one to predict though, as people don’t always get paid on the same day (not date) every month.

Samcro · 14/07/2022 07:17

how much is it? dd who is on ESA just got a random payment of 326.

Samcro · 14/07/2022 07:18

sorry just googled and answered my own question. so she got it today.
