A few weeks ago there was a thread that was really funny. I literally couldn't move for laughing at one of the comments. Think it was something like "did you smash your tits on the keyboard and press send" most days since, this comment has popped into my mind and made me laugh so much.

So who ever posted that comment thanks so much 💐

@Mookie81 glad I'm not the only one who finds it funny 😆

@APJ1 thanks for sharing, I can't see it atm as we're at Center Parcs and their WiFi won't allow the video!

Here is the thread, the post is at 10.09. The way the poster describes it is much funnier than I could!

I've said to before but the single funniest response I've read is still a response to the thread 'what middle name for a baby named Havana?'

PL: oohnana?

Hugofirst 😂

This was the one I was going to post, it absolutely cracks me up. Hugoesthere 😆😆

ThePumpkinPatch · 10/07/2022 23:31

This isn't even that funny now but at the time it had me giggling so much.

A poster had forgotten her hair ties and so had grabbed a toothbrush to tie her up with(!) and then forgot she'd done it. It was t until after her meeting with the Headteacher, who incidentally had kept glancing up at her head, that she realised. I don't know why but this finished me off that day! The vision of the Headteacher like 🧍🏻👀⁉️🤣

The ‘STARTING ROUTE TO..’ when the girl had put in the address of a nice looking guy in the office as he read it out (while sitting beside her)

Ohh I remember this! It was fairly recently if I remember correctly

007DoubleOSeven · 10/07/2022 23:39

@Pacidove dying! Thanks for sharing that thread!

I’ve never seen this one before. It’s fucking brilliant. Hugogirl!

The woman with the annoying neighbour who created a Christmas themed parking scene in his parking bay, and provided pictures.

Sweetpea1532 · 11/07/2022 04:21

Anyone remember the thread about the DH who'd wear his 'dressing gown of doom' when he was feeling poorly? Lots of hilarity ensued as others shared their OHs chosen clothing items to denote they didn't feel well.
I think one PP said her OH would walk around the house in his "shuffling slippers of suffering ' or something like that...showed how clever and witty MNETTERS can be

@ParadiseLaundry I can't find the thread you're talking about but I just had to look up that song anyway! Here it is for anyone else who wants to get it stuck in their head.

OMG. It was me that was on that holiday from hell, and now the song is stuck in my head again. I played it to DH without telling him what is was, and he recognised after about two notes.

Have to admit it’s quite catchy though.

There was one where the poster recalled her dad had to give a press conference on the civil liberty lobby, and he called it the civil liberty loberty throughout Grin

Also, a thread on inappropriate laughing, and poster rushed to the hospital with her friend as her friend's mum had been taken in. It transpired the mum had somehow opened her passenger door and fallen out the car when her dad was driving round a roundabout. The dad had said he had to drive right round the roundabout to get back to the mum to pick her up to take her to hospital and the poster just lost it at that point and was in hysterics.

This is too much 😂😂😂

Russell19 · 11/07/2022 07:30

The thread where the posters Ex DH fed the kids badger on his weekends with the kids. Nobody ever mentions it but I found it hilarious

Genuinely just cried laughing at this, thank you. I must have the same inappropriate sense of humour.

WouldJudasLeaveIt · 11/07/2022 08:09

Oh God the roundabout: I've just sniggered at the imagery 😂

Does anyone remember when the Daily Mail mocked up photographs of Prince George, William and Kate when George was first born? They had lookalikes posing in the photographs, and the Queen was in them too, changing nappies and making bottles of milk.
A poster on here thought they were real and posted the story, saying something like "isn't it good the Queen is helping out", but then had the thread deleted when it was pointed out 😂

There was a lovely series of threads about baking and the divide between the baked goods offered by catholics and protestants in Northern Ireland - at its most basic level, protestants make tray bakes and catholics make buns.

The thread became a paean of praise to traybake cakes and other cakes, that people remembered and loved - with recipes. There was something called Fifteens, if I remember right.

And there were recommendations of where to buy the best cakes in NI - at one point I suggested a coach tour round them all, but we’d have had to be rolled home!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 12/07/2022 11:24

Here’s the first traybake thread.
