What's the funniest thing you have ever read on MN?

A few weeks ago there was a thread that was really funny. I literally couldn't move for laughing at one of the comments. Think it was something like "did you smash your tits on the keyboard and press send" most days since, this comment has popped into my mind and made me laugh so much.

So who ever posted that comment thanks so much 💐

The two funniest threads I recall are the one with the women on a bus with a "fly space" - no one knew what she meant, and never did - who had been shouted at by a man for putting her shopping there and she thought he'd called her fat or something - it was totally bonkers. The other one is the woman whose husband was "doing the T rex in Asda" and she had to tell him off. Sorry, I don't know how to link.

Also, don't think anyone's mentioned it yet - the one where the poster didn't know how to get rid of her old sex toys. The whole thread was funny but the one response that really sent me was "pop them in a jiffy bag and post them to Putin." This is now a standard response in my house to "where should I put X" 🤣

Very funny but the correct answer is actually "fly to Chicago and flick them at the bean."

Thanks to this thread I've been looking through Classics, and found this amazing thread (2013) complete with an update from 2021 about her DD & Maileg Mouse 9 or so years on. Beautiful.

Parents - the minute your kid gets attached to a favourite toy, buy a spare. My son only just found out (aged 14) that we always had two identical monkeys.

Years and years ago a poster was asking for advice, she suspected her daughter had thread worm and asked how she could tell.

Someone suggested looking at night when she was asleep, go in with a torch and check.

The next poster said "It depends how old she is. If she's 15, I wouldn't recommend doing that."

It totally caught me off guard and I was pissing my pants. It doesn't make me laugh now but it did at the time!

Lots of the ones mentioned already but also hammich and I think there were a couple of other threads but the same OP that were funny as well. Not sure if they turned out to be a troll. I also enjoyed Sharon and the wine on the wall and the thread where the OP had failed at storming off in a huff whilst drunk and there were lots of posters sharing similar stories.
