It was one of those cases where you might have asked 'What attracted you to the multi-millionaire who was old enough to be your father?" But in this case, she was successful, so probably worth a bob or two herself.

I think the point some people miss is, some one like Murdoch is going to be an extremely intelligent, interesting character.
Yes he's really old but I bet he's a lot more interesting than many other younger men.
Caveat; I didn't say I personally like Murdoch but his conversation,life stories are going to be little more stimulating than Terry down the local.

I do feel that the association of Jerry Hall and Michael Caine with the odious Rupert Murdoch reflects very poorly on them. It's the way The Sun denigrated the Hillsborough dead, presumably at the behest of South Yorkshire Police and in return for a slew of stories from their Masonic mates over the decades, not to mention The Sun's alleged involvement in the murder of journalist Daniel Morgan in collusion with the bent Met Police, as covered in the C4 documentary The Murder in the Car Park. Compared to all this, Bryan Ferry and Mick Jagger seem nice, straightforward blokes.

I've always liked Jerry Hall. I genuinely believe that she married Murdock for love.

I can't imagine she's panicking about her state pension not covering her rent at the moment.

Maybe she got sick of been his nurse and looking at his saggy ass. Could never understand why she married him in the first place as he seemed ancient at the time.
