jerry was the model on the Roxy Music cover for Siren. Ferry bought her a big enagement ring as I remember then Mick appeared and off she went. In style terms Ferry all the way. nearly 80 now and still looking distinguished and dressed sharp

Ferry is definitely sexier than Mick but like Mick he's spent his life getting into relationships with successively younger women. I think one of his wives was an ex of his son? I may have that wrong though!

She was engaged to Bryan Ferry and indeed ditched him for Jagger. He was apparently heartbroken. I was a teenager and outraged at her conduct towards my Most Beloved After the split from MJ, she spoke glowingly of BF, how she was wearing the engagement ring which he'd kindly let her keep, etc etc. He didn't bite.

I can't help but like her, although her steadily deteriorating taste in men is a wonder to behold (£££$$$ IMHO, especially the last one)

I liked her on Who You Think You Are? - was hilarious how excited she was to have roots in Oldham. I didn't think she was from a particularly wealthy family though. Not dirt poor but don't think they were an oil family.

I doubt she'll get some huge divorce settlement - such a short marriage to someone with lots of kids who will have arranged for them to get all of his money, I'd assume.

I wondered if relationship gone sour and Murdoch realised she'd get a smaller chunk from a divorce (pre-nup), than his will (could be disputed?).

Interesting tidbit for this thread: Angelica Huston modelled her portrayal of Morticia Adams on Jerry Hall. (the two women are old friends) Yep, that sounds like a dig, but if you watch her performance, Morticia is incredibly warm gentle and completely loving to her kids. Morticia and Gomez are actually lovely parents to their kids.
That makes Jerry more than alright by me.

Ive always liked Jerry Hall since 'who do you think you are' she was so down to earth and genuine

I also remember her being interviewed on Wogan years ago, talking about how to be a maid in the kitchen, whore in the bedroom and felt a bit sorry for her saying things like that, she was joking saying it was her mothers advice or something. I don't think she had a lot of cash and dear Mick wanted her to move out of the (immensely valuable) house on Richmond Hill when she reached 60. Frankly, character wise, she's not a great chooser of men. So hoping she'll get a payoff from this one as RM will put stop on any fundraising 'My Story' books.
