What would you expect a "bottomless brunch" to be?

Girly weekend away, bottomless brunch suggested, at around £20 per head. All agreed. Ended up being £12 more.

What would you expect from it?

What would I expect from it? A noisy setting full of groups of younger people hellbent on getting legless by mid-morning, probably a high quotient of hen/stag parties, post-wedding parties and young'uns eating their way out of a hangover.
I don't know when 'brunch' stopped being a fairly substantial, yet breakfast-y meal taken mid-morning in lieu of breakfast and lunch, and became a rather downmarket affair of cheap greasy breakfast goods and the excuse to have cheap alcohol at a time when most people wouldn't think of drinking booze, but there we are.

@GlomOfNit round here they start at either 1.30 or 3 and it isn’t greasy breakfast items. It tends to be avacado on sourdough, eggs Benedict or for the later sitting; different pizzas and burgers etc but it might be different where you live.

Definitely hellbent on getting tipsy though! They’re great fun!

Sone of you seem to be describing an 'All you can eat ' buffet breakfast. Which is completely different to a booze laden bottomless brunch. Mind you, I would much prefer the former.

@WestendVBroadway i agree. However, until this thread, I presumed ‘a bottomless brunch’ meant ‘all you can eat’, and it would be a late morning meal.

Why has OP not updated? Maybe I missed her responses!
