Water is too wet. And I wiped my own bum.

I didn't let my 3 yo touch my boobs all day. Partly because I left early before he woke up, plus he was in nursery all day. I still wasn't home when he came back home from nursery until 7pm but the miserable terror went on hunger strike all day until I came home. We usually have our boob fiddling seances in the morning, afternoon and in the evening but today I ruined it for him because I was out all day for work to provide a roof over his head, food snacks and toys. Btw, as soon as I came home he had one hand down my top and the other hand stuffing his face with food he refused to eat all day.

Notasmartcookie · 21/05/2022 02:13

I gave DS (2) a drink of juice when he asked for a drink of juice.

TheDoveFromAboveCooCoo · 21/05/2022 05:29

@Hyvsvaar don't get me started. I could write a whole other thread on this stuff! The lazy little shit.

DressingGownofDoom · 21/05/2022 05:48

My ten month old collapsed into sobs on the floor because I wouldn't let her chew a balloon.

SoggyPaper · 21/05/2022 10:19

Today I am in the wrong for not just letting him jump into a swimming pool and swim without me holding him. I’m also in the wrong for not holding him sufficiently so that he could wriggle out of my arms and momentarily discover that he cannot, in fact, swim on his own (because he’s 1).

MooseBreath · 21/05/2022 10:56

I wouldn't let him eat the dog's breakfast.

Me standing in the porch shouting 'bye, bye....' whilst she was walking down the drive and onto the pavement. Senior school age going to school. I love it!

You have to use my dads embarrassing ones
"Love you so much!"
"Missing you already"
"Have a great day of learning!"

I used to be MORTIFIED

bobbythevet · 21/05/2022 12:59

She asked for pasta. I gave her pasta, but not enough pasta. Therefore she refuses to eat any pasta.

Shouted at him to stop as he walked blithely into a road

ImustLearn2Cook · 22/05/2022 03:51

I’m loving these😂My dd just informed me that children can actually die if they do too much cleaning. This in response to me getting her to clean up her own mess and put her toys away. Which according to dd will take all day.

I also got her to collect her own dirty clothes off the floor to put in the washing machine. 😈

RockinHorseShit · 22/05/2022 04:02

I made big cookies. I filled a big Kilner jar with them.

DD told me off for making her life more difficult by making them too big for the jar & she can't get them out

DD is 19 & supposedly very intelligent Confused

MrsRonaldWeasley · 22/05/2022 10:53

😂😂😂 at all of these!!! So glad we’re all in this together 🤣

JenniferAlisonPhilipaSue · 22/05/2022 11:20

My 14yo DD is mad because I said she couldn't bring 10 friends back to our (not that big) house tonight to 'hang out'.
Also because I wouldn't buy those 10 friends an expensive Dominoes.
And because I said they weren't staying til midnight.
And becuase I said me and DH were not hiding in our bedroom like we don't exist until then.
And because DH is not ferrying 10 kids back and forth from the house.
Its not even her birthday.

babybrain86 · 22/05/2022 11:27

DS (2) is currently having a tantrum because daddy wont let him run around naked and has put pants on him 😂
DD (4) had her whole week ruined when she was about 18months because daddy (it's always his fault 😂) mowed the lawn and cut down all the 'pretty flowes' (dandelions)
She cried every time she thought about it/went in the garden!

MrsDarcy1989x · 22/05/2022 11:49

I changed her bum before giving her a bottle. Que bald patch and black eye for my cheek

milkywithsixsugars · 22/05/2022 13:19

I told my two year old that she couldn’t electrocute herself. She was inconsolable for about five minutes 🙄

LeeMucklowesCurtains · 22/05/2022 13:49

And today …. I wouldn’t let my 20 month old eat ants in the garden. She had gone to get a spoon and everything.

Shes currently on the floor wailing “nooooooooo” at me if I dare try to speak. Taking the opportunity to have a drink in silence.

BigRedDuck · 22/05/2022 13:52

For threatening to take her door off its hinges if she slammed it again. Outrageous.
I can't do this because then we'd have to put something in front of the open door so the dog can't get in

And also because I said she didn't need extra tutoring.

Ds slammed his bedroom door so hard when he was 15 and in a teenage rage over GCSE revision that he broke the ancient door knob and couldn’t get out the room.

Ages it took me to find a screwdriver to let him out.

It didn’t. I had one in the kitchen drawer but let him stew (and he had no choice but to do his maths work).

But he never slammed a door again.

gracedentssketty · 22/05/2022 14:02

started pouring Cheerios for my 3 year old who said “I don’t want Cheerios for breakfast”. My 18 month old said “more” so started giving him the 3 year olds Cheerios who then had a meltdown and said “x has got my Cheerios”

and I’m really hungover tiday ffs

DinosApple · 22/05/2022 14:29

I asked DD to do her homework. Two subjects, both due tomorrow.

bobbythevet · 25/05/2022 10:11

I didn't let her use the hairbrush on my boobs

AmbushedByCake · 25/05/2022 14:35

DH wouldn't let DS wear his Queens Jubilee medal into school pinned onto his jumper.

bluebull · 25/05/2022 17:55

I didn't let my 3 yo take his empty trunki to nursery today and then a meltdown because he wants to go on holiday instead and not nursery.

I feel his pain.
