Well, we are still going! And still learning about subjects new and old!

As before, only rule is no spoilers!

OP posts:
SheilaFentiman · 01/06/2022 07:24

You solved it in 158 guesses
Your accuracy was 50.00%

had to Google even though I know enough about the general area

Fifthtimelucky · 01/06/2022 06:51

I'm giving up for the second day running. These are definitely too specialised for me.

Am definitely with those who are hoping for a return to the likes of skirt, rope or snow!

To be fair, this is a word you know (although it's more usually used day to day in a slightly different form). It's not like Pascal or Valency which are words you might not know at all, this is a normal concept, used in its everyday sense, but the article is giving you what's under the hood of that concept.

HeritageVegetable · 01/06/2022 07:44

130 for me. Took me a while but I enjoyed it. Not really my area but DH bangs on about it so much that it's on my radar.

WheelofLife · 01/06/2022 10:19

I googled at 300 guesses. That was hard!

iklboo · 01/06/2022 10:34

Can I please have a clue (DM for no spoilers probably best). I'm tearing my hair out with this one!

InMySpareTime · 01/06/2022 10:50

@iklboo we're quite far through the day now.
If you flew for a holiday you know this word.

iklboo · 01/06/2022 11:05

@InMySpareTime - broke? 😂. Thank you so much.

InMySpareTime · 01/06/2022 11:28

@iklboo did that help you yet? It's about the journey not the destination.

iklboo · 01/06/2022 11:28

@InMySpareTime - got it! That was a brilliant clue ☺️.

Three in a row I know nothing about! This was the hardest yet for me though. Yes, in the end I googled to try and piece it together.

iklboo · 01/06/2022 11:37

@InMySpareTime - yes. Another couple of words I got in the right area then 'boom'. I guessed the right one.

Nc58985 · 01/06/2022 13:23

Im getting nowhere with this one! And I had to Google the last two 😂

drspouse · 01/06/2022 15:43

I'm up to 236 and will be Googling shortly.
