Most unpleasant celeb you've ever met?

I met a well known mum of a celebrity today. I was offering to give her a hand as she had dropped some shopping on the way to her car.

She shouted 'Don't touch! It's fruit ' I said oh sorry, thought you needed a hand there. She said no, just don't touch. I'm fine.

I was shocked and walked off.

Have you ever met a celebrity that's been rude? Or sounded rude even if they weren't actually speaking to you?

Doesn't surprise me. My instinct tells me the exact same.

Kylie refused to sign my plaster cast when I had a broken arm when I was about 5 (30+ years ago, ahem). I've felt a bit cold towards her ever since!

I've met a few celebrities most were OK Shane richie absolute bell end and so far up his own arse it's ridiculous.

Lovely celebrities Stewart lee lovely lovely bloke very sweet and Tony Hadley brought me and my mum (who was a massive fan) a drink and introduced us to his friends really lovely guy.

James Martin -awful, fake, rude, moody

Wendy Craig - such a disappointment, rude, snooty, dismissive

Keith Barron - vile asshole

Adrian Edmonson and Rick mayall refused to sign our merch too.

John Peel. Grumpy bastard.

I have OCD in my family - the comment about not touching the fruit could be because she had OCD and was worried about contamination or I guess worried about it being squeezed etc. She was a little rude in her abruptness but maybe she was stressed. We've all been stressed and appeared more abrupt than we would have liked to.

Bill Bailey. He brought his family to a kids comedy show (he was performing himself later that day) and let his kid (aged about 9 or 10) run around on the stage DURING the show and interrupt. He just sat there laughing. Entitled prick.

Sara Cox. All that down to earth persona is a facade. Not nice at all.

Heard that Ben Fogle & his wife are not that pleasant to deal with and that Kate Humble, from those stuck on a boat with her, is not actually that humble. Tony Robinson was too friendly...😦

Alistair Campbell if he counts is also really nice and has a lot of time for people.

Someone else I knew who ran a shop said he and his family were the rudest customers she ever had. So it wasn't a one-off.

Cricketers: Flintoff and Harmison seemed like great blokes when I met them. Strauss not so much. Had a nice chat with Matthew Hoggard.

Sean Bean is definitely a wanker though -massive letch, completely wasted and really short, yet thought he could order us to join him for a curry.

i don't really like these threads. Why expect anyone to be 'lovely' to you. They have no idea who you are, and they didn't get where they are by being nice. They got famous by being unusual and unreasonable. Deal with it.

That said, I have met several of the Dingle family actors from Emmerdale and without exception they were absolute treasures.
