Most unpleasant celeb you've ever met?

I met a well known mum of a celebrity today. I was offering to give her a hand as she had dropped some shopping on the way to her car.

She shouted 'Don't touch! It's fruit Confused' I said oh sorry, thought you needed a hand there. She said no, just don't touch. I'm fine.

I was shocked and walked off.

Have you ever met a celebrity that's been rude? Or sounded rude even if they weren't actually speaking to you?

i don't really like these threads. Why expect anyone to be 'lovely' to you. They have no idea who you are, and they didn't get where they are by being nice. They got famous by being unusual and unreasonable. Deal with it.

That said, I have met several of the Dingle family actors from Emmerdale and without exception they were absolute treasures.

Me and my colleagues went above and beyond to help out Clive Swift. I worked for a bank and it was a Saturday, his bank was closed and we were the only bank open in the town and he wanted to cash a cheque. We’d have been completely justified to refuse but we helped him out and he was rude and ungrateful. Whenever Keeping Up Appearances is on tv I refer to him as a nasty man.

My 1st thought was Judy Murray too!
So glad it wasn't her

I walked past Judy Murray in a train station not long ago. I thought she was someone I knew but couldn’t quite place so I smiled at her as I walked by. She smiled back. It wasn’t until I was well past her that I realised and thought, “You idiot, that was Judy Murray and you definitely don’t know her!” 😂

A mate of mine lives in the same village as the Middletons and apparently they are not a popular family.

I met Chris Tarrant and god he was pleased with himself. Really, really full of it, in a most unpleasant way.

You've summed up Tarrant perfectly. Had the misfortune to be in the same pub as him one night.

I used to live in the same village as Dom Joly. His kids ran out in front of my then partner's car - Dom Joly apologised and said 'Just run them over next time!'.
I've never liked his comedy much but he was a lovely person.

I got spat on by Liam Gallagher for being in his way

I met Rory McGrath a few times and he's been rude to everyone especially bar staff

We used to see Rory McGrath a lot and once he was wearing tiny shorts. My DS asked “Why has that man got such big legs?” 😄

Admittedly this was before he was famous but he was such a bellend then I think he's unlikely to have improved.

Not met her personally but I'm reliably informed Miriam Margolyes is awful.

Gianfranco Zola (ex Chelsea/ Italian footballer) is lovely and very polite.
