should have got it at 24 as I got the 10th word of the first sentence at 23 but I’m still very chuffed.

Little bit of Googling for ideas today - I knew the general area, but not enough about it.

It helps that I work in a school science department, and it's in the current GCSE syllabus 🙂I only looked at the first paragraph. I filled in :
That (---- is, blah blah blah
Animal, which is always one of my early guesses
Not
So then I had 'not an animal, blank, or blank.
So then I was eliminating the different taxonomic kingdoms
Plant was in the text but not the answer
Choice between protist, archaea, bacteria or fungus
Protist turned out to be the answer !!!

I really enjoyed that one, could have got it sooner as I recognised the quotes quite early, but I was enjoying filling in the text for a while.

Got the general theme quite quickly but took a bit of narrowing down. I say narrowing down, a few more likely gap-fillers and then a guess based on the size of the word.
