Passport application or renewal timelines in one place at a glance -add yours!

In the light of the hefty current backlog of processing passport applications, I thought it might be informative to start a thread for keeping an eye on other people's timelines for the applications for and renewal of UK passports. Personally, I'm hoping for reassurance at best, or a grim-faced reality check at worst.
I'll start. How about this format:
Type of passport requested: 2x DC UK renewals
Date of application: 18th of April
Method: Check and Send at local post office
Anyone want to add their stats?

2 adult renewals applied for on 6th April documents sent to Bootle on the 7th.

1 arrived 27th April. Missed the other arriving today so rearranged for tomorrow.

Wondering what the coming week will bring. The reported average turn-around times for all types of passport remain fairly unchanged, so let's hope things keep chugging along steadily. For those of you hoping to go away this month; fingers crossed for this week!

Name change adult renewal, online. Went to Peterborough.

Applied 26th Feb

Went to application processing 23rd March.

Approved 27th April.

Arrived 29th April.

9 weeks in all.

Passport 1
Adult renewal (10+ years since expiry, had to reconfirm ID)
applied online 25/03/22
Passport received 27/04/22
almost 5 weeks waiting
(processed at Peterborough)

Passport 2
Adult renewal (10+ years since expiry, so need to reconfirm ID)
applied online 25/03/22
still waiting for any progress almost 6 weeks later, no link sent to confirm ID, several phone calls and still no further forward. It’s not looking good.

Passport 3
child first passport
applied online 25/03/22
requested further documents (marriage certificate) so currently waiting for it to be logged and received.
I would hope I will get DC passport in the next few weeks ish!
(Processed at Glasgow)

We travel in 10 weeks. DH passport is the one I’m most concerned about.

Machine, nine weeks. Nerves of steel...
Haroted, such discrepancies in the same 'batch' of applications is what I find baffling.
I received one text message to confirm receipt of application (no reference so unable to tell which DC it refers to) with the instruction to wait 3 weeks before attempting tracking application.
This was followed by another message saying not to contact them and to expect the process to take 10 weeks. Luckily not travelling for a while, but it's stressful!

Method: online with old passports sent to Liverpool (x2) and Glasgow (x1) passport offices
Application status: 1 adult and 1 child approved and received in less than 3 weeks (1 sent to Liverpool, the other to Glasgow), other child photo was rejected on 20th April, submitted another same day, no progress since.

We travel on 27 May and am getting really twitchy. Joined the Passport Chaos 22 FB group this morning which hasn't helped. Currently on hold to the passport office phoneline.

Both applications started on 20.04.22
Child renewal A: new passport back in 14 days (glasgow)
Child renewal B: still at documents received (peterborough)

Thought I would add my update ..
Both DC's (child to adult) have arrived.
Bootle was 2 1/2 weeks
Durham was 3 weeks
Recieved/approved/printed took around 5/5 day mark.

Had bank holidays in that time as well.

Mine was was
24thApril....10.30 am ,,send your
Documents
24th April...1.30 pm ...documents received.
(Sunday)

No further update.
Today a message saying documents received !

I am hoping that this message means I am back in the system !!

Renewal with name change.

I sent old passport, marriage certificate and council tax bill to show I use my married name.

If they want more I know have bank statements.
I had to order them ,took 2 weeks to arrive !

Not panicking really ...just that I am very impatient !

Hate the uncertainty.
Already had our return flights cancelled and time changed.

Application status: had to send a new picture 24th April as previous one wasn't allowed and had message today 4th May to say it is approved so waiting for printing now.

No update or text to say they’ve received it yet
Getting a bit freaked out as holiday on 06/06

Its being done in Peterborough. It did say 5 weeks when I made the application.

Going to be a close call!

Oh no, just as things started to look a nit hopeful with some good turn-around anecdotes... Thanks for the heads up about the FB group; thats one group I won't be joining: I wouldn't have the stomach for it 😁

Ds' passport renewal (first adult passport): old passport posted 1st class 19 April (but only arrived 21 April)
New passport arrived 3 May, exactly 2 weeks later.
Done on-line; sent to the Bootle office.

Dh's renewal: old passport posted 3 May <span class="line-through">while I was out posting dh's passport</span> (arrived the following day but not yet updated on their system) 
Done on-line; sent to Belfast office.

@clarasara I know! I keep looking at the page and scaring myself more. I got through to HMPO on Weds and requested a callback from the progress team, they should call before Saturday morning, but I don't believe they will. Thinking of trying to change the holiday date, we fly 3 wks tomorrow and DD's application has been 'processing' for more than 2 weeks - apparently this can go on for months, aargh. I booked the holiday on a whim at the end of March without realising what was going on with passports - gutted.
