Passport application or renewal timelines in one place at a glance -add yours!

In the light of the hefty current backlog of processing passport applications, I thought it might be informative to start a thread for keeping an eye on other people's timelines for the applications for and renewal of UK passports. Personally, I'm hoping for reassurance at best, or a grim-faced reality check at worst.
I'll start. How about this format:
Type of passport requested: 2x DC UK renewals
Date of application: 18th of April
Method: Check and Send at local post office
Anyone want to add their stats?

Old passport sent by Special Delivery on Mon 25th July.

Text received confirming receipt at their end Tues 26th July.

Email received Thursday 28th July confirming new one being printed.

Email received Friday 29th July confirming new one being despatched.

Today (Tuesday 2nd Aug) new one received.

8 days in total 🙌🏼 🙌🏼

Type of passport requested: 1 adult renewal

Date of application: Tues 6th December

Method: Online application

Old passport sent by Special Delivery on Tues 6th December

Texts received confirming receipt at their end and approval of application Fri 9th December

Texts received confirming new one has been printed and reminding me to sign it when I get it Sat 17th December

Today (Tues 20th Dec) new one received.

So total of 14 days.

Incidentally, my new one still says ‘Her Britannic Majesty’ - I wonder how long it will be before they run out of blanks that are already printed and do a new run with ‘His Majesty’
