Ahh you only have to guess the subject don’t you - not get all the words 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was thinking it seemed impossible as there are loads of numbers!

Ooh I was hoping for a thread last night because I solved my first attempt in 30 guesses and was, I don’t mind telling you, delighted with myself. Only happened because it was closely connected to a book I’ve been reading though.

I almost don’t want to try today as it’s bound to take me thousands, I know I’ll crack at some point though!

I'm not sure I'll play it every day but it was good fun trying to think of the best words to guess.

A tip about revealed words showing up blue - if you tap a word in the list of your guesses, it takes you to the first instance of that word in the text and shows it in blue. Tap again and jump to the next instance.

This works for any guesses not just the last one.

I like this new game! Stumbled pretty immediately onto the theme and got a massively helpful word at 16 which should have given it away but I kept plugging a few more associated words rather than just thinking about what it suggested, which is probably inexperience as much as anything.

Oh I’ve just seen my ‘yesterday’s’ is in fact today’s as there won’t be another one till this evening with time zones and whatnot.

Thought I’d got a really good clue early on, but it totally sent me off down the wrong track!

I solved it in 79.
my first attempt at redactle and I really enjoyed it - especially when I got the hang of searching for where my words were located.

I did use google right at the end, but only when I had 4 very key bits of information. The answer was the top hit.

To be fair, I had to google as well but only when I had got one word of the answer. I could have been guessing for a million years before I got the other word as it just wasn't something I knew.

Took me a while to get the hang of it! Once you get a couple of key words then you’re away.

Well I’m on over 400 guesses for Redactle today and no closer to an answer mind you I’m not convinced I’ve grasped what I’m supposed to be doing. It’s quite fun though just thinking of different words.
