Here we go again! Is this game getting easier, or will we all be wallowing in the hundreds in a day or two? Only time will tell!

Confused over 100 guesses and not one green so far. Very frustrated! I'm following a track which is gradually getting my similarity higher, but no idea where to go next.

Bloody hell!

I solved Semantle #79 in 119 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 6.21. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #112. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 56.12 (965/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I was going completely down the wrong track with my early guesses, although it felt like a lovely and logical progression.

Got it quickly today

I solved Semantle #79 in 34 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 7.66. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #30. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 7.25. semantle.novalis.org/

I’ve been playing this for a couple of weeks and this is the first time I have found the word. I couldn’t quite believe today's result!

Funny one today, my highest green was 805 and I was getting nowhere then typed in an 805 featured on an advert and there it was!

Made the mistake of showing DH the make your own semantle. Obviously he sent one back with a rude word because he is a massive child. The top 1000 words list was gross 😆

I've been stuck on 805 for ages. I've tried lots of types of 805, have noticed a similarity between them but not sure if I'm going down the wrong path. And now I'm even more confused by @BowerOfBramble's hint.

I got sidetracked by 876 for a while going for specific ones of that before realising I needed to go for another example of 581.

@EatSleepReplete I got 805, and the target was the first 805 I guessed. It's not an unusual 805.

Someone pick me up from the floor! I have solved Semantle#79 with my first guess .
DH refuses to be impressed and told me it's not worth playing if that's going to happen. I've been playing for 49 days and my average across all games is 94.24 so a total fluke.

876 is another kind of 794, keep guessing
