This ring.. like or hate?

Just as the title says! Been asking friends and family and had a really really divided response 🤔

So.. do you love it?
Or hate it?

My only worry would be losing a stone, also getting a wedding band to match. Halos are in at the moment but might not always be.

Why don’t you try some cheap high street versions - dress jewellery, to get a feeling of different stones.

It's nice for a dressy occasion but perhaps not every day wear, depending on your style.

I think you’re MIL is right. You have a beautiful ring already. 4 figures and you’re about to spend the same again on this ring? Why?

I don’t love it. Your hand shape doesn’t suit the squareness of the ring. It doesn’t flatter. The pear shape one you have is much more flattering IMO

I like that one but you suited the other one better. However it's what you like best.

I really don't like it and I think it looks very big and clunky on your finger. It immediately made me think of those massive belts boxers win, or that you'd won a Super Bowl

If you’re not marrying us or your MIL to be, then just get what YOU like. You’ll be the one wearing it.

Love the ring but I had a look on your other thread that's been linked and I think I prefer the pear cut ring. I would love to wear either of them.

How much is it?

I like it but think it’s more of a dress ring than engagement as it looks quite fragile. Couldn’t wear with a wedding ring either

It’s lovely but not right for me. I’m not a fan on the square shape. I feel other ring styles look more flattering on my hand/finger/nail shape. But obviously all people are different and I think it could certainly look great on lots of people.

I think it's very pretty, I like the Art Deco styling, but honestly, I don't think you should care what strangers on the internet think as long as YOU like it.
