This ring.. like or hate?

Just as the title says! Been asking friends and family and had a really really divided response 🤔

So.. do you love it?
Or hate it?

I think it’s very pretty but more of a dress ring than an engagement ring. I would put that on with an evening dress to go to an event but would find it a bit much with jeans and a t-shirt.

I find it a bit too chunky & prefer the pear original.

But agree with other posters, you want to buy something that you love and have no doubts about.

It’s not for me, but several friends have a similar cut and love it - and it suits them. It would look too big and flashy on me.

The only person who should care is you OP? If you're asking then keep looking.

If you’re undecided then it’s a no isn’t it. Having just seen your other thread, if your original ring can’t be resized, just buy another one that looks like it in the right size.

I get that you’re quite an indecisive person but you’ve asked the opinions of people in real life and are now asking internet randoms for the second time. If you’re that unsure then it’s not right.

I reckon look for something else, not because I or anyone else doesn’t like it, but because you obviously don’t like it that much either, otherwise you wouldn’t be asking (again). Find something that you love so much you don’t need anyone else to validate it!

Op it’s one of those things where others peoples opinions don’t matter even a tiny bit.

It’s not my thing at all. Is it expensive? If I saw someone wearing it I would probably think it was from Next or something….!

HNRTT but everyone has different taste. And for what purpose, engagement/every day or occasional/dress wear? And it depends on your personal style.

The pear one seems the nicer of the two though.

I love it. I love the Art Deco style. I think it’s elegant and reminiscent of an earlier age.

I love it. I'm not normally into bling, but I love art deco and this is a really stylish example of that.

It just means second hand or vintage. Must independent jewellers, auctions or online.

Is you don't like it enough to buy it and it costs enough that you want advice, it's not the right ring

Don’t like it but don’t hate it. Doesn’t matter what I think though.

I like it but think your original ring suited your finger better.
