And so the madness continues! Here's our 9th thread to discuss, boast and rant about the game that is more pointless than Pointless, needs Masterminds to solve and will make Eggheads of us all, what with the amount of hair-pulling it induces!

Hah, after a quick couple of days it was back to normal service today of finding a fairly high green then meandering around the lower greens for absolutely ages!

I solved Semantle #75 in 122 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 7.49. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #15. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 14.47. semantle.novalis.org/

Pleased with that, took me ages to get a green but then got to 999 quickly!

Your top two are good, just think of a more general sort of term.

Holy moly, got today's in 10. 6th guess was in at 953.nice start to day!!

This is day 6 of trying this game and aside from chatting with DH didn't have any help (first time without reading help here or thesaurus).

I spoilt it for myself by looking at the thread when I had no greens so i fit it a bit quicker than I would like!

Straightforward today - like it when I don’t need hints or thesaurus, which I’ve managed a few days in a row. I’m sure that means tomorrow’s will be a bugger now 😆

Took ages to get a green then it was fairly straightforward. No thesaurus needed for a change.
