Since weve almost managed to fill our 6th thread I thought I should start the next so we have somewhere to sc

If you're lucky enough not to know what I'm on about Semantle is a word game like Wordle. You need to find the secret word of the day, but it works by semantics, not letters. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, one of the secret words was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

We tend to use the threads to rant about how we're getting nowhere, celebrate our successes and laugh about the previous day's top 1000 but please, no spoilers. Subtle hints only here; use DMs for more obvious clues.

I solved Semantle #63 in 46 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 1.86. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #18. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 30.80 (883/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Feeling better after only doing wordle in 6!

I did it in 132 guesses. I'm surprised most other people got it a lot quicker, I thought it was a hard word.

Massive element of luck with this game finding the right track! Once I had that I got it quickly. But 50 words that that first green, then working out which context that word was being used in...

My worse score is 495 as I couldn't crack the track.

It means the similarity is in that position but it wasn't listed in the green words so it doesn't know what to do as it's not green, nor cold.

I had 890 on go 5 which took me in a different direction until about go 130

If you want a clue based on that number or your greens, message me. I think it’s too early to do pointed clues here. It really depends on what got you to that number for your train of thought.
