@godmum56

Like a piece of art in plain sight, that can have more than one interpretation , if you know you know, or at least understand the meaning, sorta thing. At least that's my thinking.

Horaceandgus · 25/03/2022 22:55

As a child I was very rude to Sir David Attenborough

My great grandfather was paid to sit in and spy on the great train robbers

I babysat a child who grew up to murder his mothers new boyfriend

I have my clit pierced and nobody bar my daughter, partner and a random work colleague know-I had a conversation with my mil about ‘private piercings’ and fully agreed that anyone who had it done was ‘a bit funny in the head’ while praying my partner wouldn’t pipe up about me having it

My dad taught an ex girlfriend to ride a motorbike
About 6 months after they broke up and by this time he’d met my mother, the ex was killed in a motorbike accident-from what I can gather, she was at fault

@vipersnest1

I can write perfectly with both hands.

I was good friends with a very well known London photographer who had done lots of ad campaigns and work with celebrities. I found out loads of gossip about huge A list American celebs that he actually witnessed while taking their pics.

I dated a porn star.

People mistake me for being mixed race. My mother is a very pale Scottish woman and my father is red headed Irish man. I got so paranoid about them not being my biological parents I got us all to do DNA tests because I was 100% convinced I was adopted as my 3 siblings are white. I love my skin colour so I'm not mad about it.

clpsmum · 25/03/2022 23:16

On the plus side in my youth I was seeing somebody who became the lead singer in a well known band

chocohoardersanonymous · 25/03/2022 23:16

I regularly used to babysit a child who grew up to become a famous tv presenter.

Chinupandtitsout · 25/03/2022 23:18

I found 13kg of gold while working on an marine archaeological project in Mozambique. Ship from 1500s. During the safety stop at 3 meters we would scavenge for “missangers” (trading beads). I gave my partner the most beautiful stone that no one apart from me had seen for over 500 years. Note to self: keep treasure.

CailleachGranda · 25/03/2022 23:22

My grandparents were an earl and countess

My DM was a lady but we weren't rich growing up

Ginger1982 · 25/03/2022 23:23

A guy at work stole my idea and was awarded an MBE off the back of it.

RosesAndHellebores · 26/03/2022 01:33

After ds1 was born all the hairs on my arms fell out and most of my leg hair. Nowhere else affected. No idea why.

Ilovecharliecat · 26/03/2022 01:39

birchtree23 · 26/03/2022 01:40

I had heart valve replacement and got out of hospital the next day

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 26/03/2022 01:41

When I was 3 I was knocked 6ft head first onto a pavement. Huge skull fractures, unconscious for days .... and the hospital never did any checks. I woke up and they sent me home.

Was caught up in a crap armed robbery. I thought he was a queue jumper so refused to move and slowly finished my transaction. He was leaning on me to make me move so I shouldered him out of the way. No one in the queue acknowledged him at all and when he tried another cashier to rob, the young lad just said 'no' when told to open the till. He gave up and left. He must have felt like a right prick Grin.

RicherThanYew · 26/03/2022 01:47

My (late) mother was about 4"10 and 7 stone when I was born, she had a natural birth with no pain relief and I weighed just under 11lbs, I was 2 weeks late arriving and completely healthy despite her 40 a day smoking habit.
My mother in law is also tiny and my husband weighed barely 4lbs when born, she took excellent care of herself during pregnancy but both she and my husband came very close to dying from pre eclampsia.
The world is a strange place.

KloppsTeeth · 26/03/2022 02:09

Some of the mums on the school run think I work for MI6. I learnt this from a friend of mine who heard them discussing me. Grin i have several large dictionaries on my bookshelf in my lounge, including a Russian one. This must’ve been noted by one of them and now I am an international woman of mystery. Grin

WombatBlue · 26/03/2022 02:20

I met the Hoosiers after a small gig, and hugged the main singer whilst super drunk...

There was a time I had more offers of being an extra in a threesome than for a date... many years later I took one of the offers up (was still on the table) and enjoyed it more than expected

Pretty decent sharpshooter at distances up to 1000yards..

Inarightpickleandpreserve · 26/03/2022 02:39

My dad had a police escort to the hospital the night I was born, not because he was in custody, because they were nice and put on their blue lights and sirens to get him through the traffic.
One in front and one behind him. Such a nice thing for them to do!
