You go first.

I have so so many.

As a toddler I sat in an Orangutans enclosure and the alpha male looked after me and loved me as if I belonged to him.

But I swear apart from having Auburn hair I didn't look like I was his Grin

@Hawkins001

I don't know who my biological farther is, and if my analysis is fairly accurate, it may or may not help to give perspectives as to why their is the level of intrigue that people have with me, either that or if it's nothing to do with who my biological farther is, then what the heck, as either I'm strange to the high hills, (I think I am anyway,) but given different parts of the jigsaw that in my mind, I've sorta put together and if I have read the puzzle correctly, then their seems to be certainly a lot of intrigue, that people have about me, especially when I consider myself an average person so to speak.

Tis a mystery and I'm not sure I'll ever get the full analysis of why,

eh?
AlternativelyWired · 25/03/2022 21:48

I work for Lisa Riley's cousin.

My godparent's parents were the inspiration for the Coronation Street pub couple. I don't watch it so I don't recall the details.

My next door neighbour's dad drove John Thaw's taxi.

I have a good science degree but failed GCSE science at school.

Paddy McGuinness was on the same plane as me going to America. He was in first class though and ahead of me at check in.

I served chips at the chippy to some famous guy I can't remember the name of now. I didn't know who it was at the time either. Martin someone maybe. Not Clunes. Some Mancunian guy.

Wow!! That's quite special. [/quote]
It was pretty incredible. I'm sure we are in lots of tourists' snaps, though they'd be disappointed to find we are not famous/royalty.

Littlepaws18 · 25/03/2022 21:52

I have been to every continent and spent my 30th birthday in Antarctica. Penguins are awesome but stinky.

Violinist64 · 25/03/2022 21:53

I have perfect pitch and synesthesia.

Jelly4444 · 25/03/2022 21:55

I was, involuntarily, groped by a man when I was 16! He went on to win an Oscar!!

My cousins are very well off. Jointly, they are worth billions... about $50 billion! Sadly, they don't share 😂

Babamamananarama · 25/03/2022 21:56

Jimmy Saville threw his sweaty glove at me and my sister when we were children spectating at the Marathon. 🤮

Hawkins001 · 25/03/2022 22:06

@godmum56

There's no one, off mumsnet I could discuss the theory with on that topic, but alais, that's all I can say on the issue, basically a mystery to myself, but one I have no tangible proofs, just theories.

nzborn · 25/03/2022 22:07

I have a mole on my belly button

vipersnest1 · 25/03/2022 22:13

What is your random fact, @alittlefickle?
As a seasoned poster, I'm wondering why you haven't shared your experience, but are clearly expecting other posters to share theirs. Hmm

RedLemon · 25/03/2022 22:18

I had a perfect, rom-com level, swept-of-my-feet, heavenly, stars-sparkling kiss from a beautiful beautiful French man on a bridge crossing the Seine on a dark, clear Parisian winter’s night as the Eiffel Tower lit up with its twinkling light display just a short way away.

I thought to myself- “This is the most romantic moment of my life.” And although I’ve had many lovely, memorable moments since, it was.

They don’t call it French kissing for nothing. Sigh!

Chocolateismyfavourite · 25/03/2022 22:19

I can do a chin stand

PatterPaws · 25/03/2022 22:23

I can ride a horse bareback.

I can spin for ages on one ice skate.

I have never used a microwave.

JennyForeigner · 25/03/2022 22:23

@NationMcKinley

I have 2 extra nipples so likely would have been burned at the stake, once upon a time…… 🧙‍♀️
I missed the 'extra' in this, and had to admit I was curious.
HollowTalk · 25/03/2022 22:31

@popcornfrenzy

I posted on here about my job and the bloody Daily Mail picked it up - was fed up of people making stuff up about it. Thread is now in classics and the AMA topic was born off the back of it.
Can you tell us the name of the thread please?
Fernandina · 25/03/2022 22:35

I can read upside-down.

(the book I mean, not me)

ShavingTheBadger · 25/03/2022 22:36

Ew @Babamamananarama that’s just reminded me - he used to try and overtake my friend when she was running in Roundhay Park - he’d be smoking a cigar whilst he was running. She came second in the London Marathon though so he had no f’kin chance.

Anniecott · 25/03/2022 22:37

I have an extra rib on the same side my mum is missing one.

TheHoptimist · 25/03/2022 22:42

I once sold cigarettes to Dot Cotton 😂😂
I used to sell her everything weekly
Rupertgrintismyguiltypleasure · 25/03/2022 22:43

When I was about 7, we lived on an estate near to a train track, right across from my building was a park and me and my friends often played in the park no supervision. One day was just me and one other friend and a strange man came down the side of the train track and full on flashed us. My friend was older and threatened to tell her parents but he said if we told anyone he’d come back and get us, he then ran back up the tracks, we’ve never whispered a word to anyone, I don’t even know if she remembers.

TokenGinger · 25/03/2022 22:43
