Thought this might be an interesting thread topic :-)

You go first.

I don't know who my biological farther is, and if my analysis is fairly accurate, it may or may not help to give perspectives as to why their is the level of intrigue that people have with me, either that or if it's nothing to do with who my biological farther is, then what the heck, as either I'm strange to the high hills, (I think I am anyway,) but given different parts of the jigsaw that in my mind, I've sorta put together and if I have read the puzzle correctly, then their seems to be certainly a lot of intrigue, that people have about me, especially when I consider myself an average person so to speak.

Tis a mystery and I'm not sure I'll ever get the full analysis of why,

I had a midlife crisis and flew off halfway around the world to spend two weeks (as friends) with a guy I met on an online game after only talking to him for six months. I regret nothing and loved every second of it. We don't talk anymore but for someone with extreme anxiety and some days struggle to even walk to the shop, I somehow managed to fly and change flights in HK while they were rioting outside the airport. I did ask him if he was a serial killer beforehand, I'm not that stupid 😉

My uncle was Princess Di's personal trainer.

And as that's not about me, I can't picture things in my head and am constantly in a state of fear because I don't recognise anything.

I used to know a famous racing driver. He kept his formula one car in his parent’s garage at the back of a fairly ordinary bungalow, two doors from us.There was a back lane (NTR) and sometimes the doors were open. I wish I had taken a photo of it for myself. I kept the secret for years as a teenager because my mum told me too.It made me smile to think if only people knew.

The4teddybears · 25/03/2022 21:10

@Gingernaut

I am not a dwarf, but have disproportionally short limbs.

No blouses or trousers fit me and due to my long back, petite sizes don't fit me either.

Might you have Turner Syndrome ?
Workinghardeveryday · 25/03/2022 21:12

I punched Timmy Mallett

Lostmyway86 · 25/03/2022 21:15

I worked with someone famous who has been very recently publicly shamed. I am shocked as this person was always very kind and considerate....I wonder if it's a media witch hunt or has any truth.

merryhouse · 25/03/2022 21:15

My granny's auntie married JM Barrie's nephew

One set of my great-great-grandparents were first cousins

I have space-time synaesthesia (months of the year circle front-to-back, with September on the table in front of me and my birthday in June directly in front of my eyes)

I don't like salted caramel, chocolate-coated coffee beans, salty liquorice or high-cocoa chocolate

I was born face-first, with lasting results

I was working overseas on a large construction project in what can only be described as a 'country estate' (and some).
My first day walked into the staff quarters and asked the 'electrician' if he minded making me a cuppa as he was making tea. No problem and then we sat at the kitchen table talking.
Five minutes later the usual client 'entourage' arrived and looked horrified!
The penny dropped, he wasn't the electrician he was the rock star client! I said to him I'm so sorry I didn't recognise you and I'll probably get sacked now.
He said "no way, who else am I going to drink tea with in the mornings?"
Three months later we were still drinking tea and eating digestive biscuits at 7 am every morning.
It was a great summer/autumn.

Riseholme · 25/03/2022 21:17

@sophienelisse. Well it proved you had attention to detail by turning the paper over and common sense in changing the wrong answers.

SnottyLottie · 25/03/2022 21:19

I was one of the hundred people asked a question on Pointless. I was asked a question on my university dissertation speciality and stopped a celebrity couple winning a jackpot for their charity by one point 😬😆

I'm related to Alexander Flemming on one side of my family, and Mary Ann Cotton on the other side - my dgf on this side was also involved with trying to catch the Krays when he was a policeman

YahBooFucks · 25/03/2022 21:37

@StarCourt Me too! But I am (and always have been, since I started learning) an excellent driver.

YahBooFucks · 25/03/2022 21:38

I've cooked for Miriam Margolyes.
