The title says it all.

OP posts:

Devine. Such a great name, every Devine I’ve ever come across reflect their name.

TheFoldOx · 20/03/2022 23:18

A friend in the army had a sergeant whose surname was Pepper.

Jellybean23 · 20/03/2022 23:18

Beaglehole (not really cool, more of a 'oh no, glad it's not mine' name).

TheFoldOx · 20/03/2022 23:19

@Jellybean23

Beaglehole (not really cool, more of a 'oh no, glad it's not mine' name).

ShinyPikachu · 20/03/2022 23:21

DH works with someone with the surname Windmill.

There's also a Swedish footballer whose surname is Starfelt and I think that one is amazing.

ThenAgainMaybeIWont · 20/03/2022 23:25

I worked with a Sharonda Mountain once.

MurmuratingStarling · 20/03/2022 23:26

Some 30-35 years ago I knew a Reverend Twotrees, which always amused me, and also a Reverend AChurch. I'm not kidding. Again, late 1980s/early 1990s. Probably not even alive now as they were 60-odd then.

MurmuratingStarling · 20/03/2022 23:26

Achurch sorry. Only the A was uppercase!

sensibleheartxo · 20/03/2022 23:27

Sadly not - I’m not cool enough for a name like that.

I do however have a Mac surname so I’m considering becoming MacAngell and starting a whole new surname.

RussianSpy101 · 20/03/2022 23:28

@Easterbunnyiswindowshopping a quick Google of St John Goldfingle shows interaction with Tommy Robinson and pro brexit tweets. I was too invested! Sounds like the name of a man who would’ve found the cure for cancer or landed on a new planet. Quite disappointing really! 😂🙈

Pyewhacket · 20/03/2022 23:30

Ppl I have worked with : Pendragon, Daimler, Lanacaster-Peeler, Titan, Farthing, Granitt , Pylon, Poohb

4geraniums · 20/03/2022 23:36

Lots of these are silly/awful names, the opposite of cool.

Sillyotter · 20/03/2022 23:39

De’Ath
Masheder
Proverbs
Blythman

Unfortunately both DP and I have boring common surnames so will only be swapping one for the other. They don’t work double barrelled or combined either.

Lillygolightly · 20/03/2022 23:41

Da Souza

I just love the way it sounds.

Paddingtonthebear · 20/03/2022 23:44
