I think the Pine Coffins are old Cornish gentry. If you Google them you will find out their history and how they came by their surname.

Nightingale is one I’d’ve considered myself blessed to have.

My husbands name is so fabulous, I decided it was better than mine and took it, which I said I’d never do. I won’t say what it is as it will be outing, but it’s a geographical one.

I’m related to a Valentine so, surprised to see it mentioned here, it seems ordinary to me.

I once dated a guy who’s last name was Devine. I thought it was a great name until his sister had a baby girl and every name she suggested made the name sound like a porn star.

I used to deal with a Trebilcock.

A former colleague's surname was Iyayi. Nothing special, until it was repeatedly spelled out over the phone by another colleague who was from the north-east of England...
