Being curious how many of you are thinking to vote Labour in May election just as a revenge to the superiority that carried by Tory?

I haven't done my research yet, so can't say certainly I'd do it. But they're lots of things we are not happy with the local council. Usually may not warrant a change of vote (probably just not bother to vote). But the whole partygate thing made me almost determined to vote Labour in May.

Tory didn't care what the public feel or think, carrying on to find excuses for their corrupted government. And that guy, that guy who's born as a natural lier, I can't even bear to hear his voice anymore. Something needs to be done, when their party refuse to change or at least show the public their remorse. I feel I need to do something.

How many of you feel the same?

The far right are GC precisely because they oppress women on the basis of sex. They know that gender is a crock of shit.

The left are on board with gender woo because it allows them to continue to oppress women whilst denying any oppression at all, with a handy excuse to blame women for their own oppression.

Have no idea who I will vote for,

ilovesooty · 13/03/2022 16:38

Most voters who spoil their papers will simply be enabling another Conservative government.

We did have a politician of principle in this country not that long ago.
A man named Jeremy Corbyn.
A man who the people of this country were too cowardly to vote for, and it's partly those people's fault that this country is in the state it's in.
Because they believed the lies spun by the media, and they fear socialism. As a lifelong socialist, I have sadly come to the conclusion socialism scares most people. As does not driving a car, being a vegetarian and generally being a bit different.

So congratulations to all of those people for making a choice that has led to this: for giving us what most people see as a choice between the Tories and Sir Keir and his allies. I don't like Sir Keir and the centre ground of the Labour Party much at all and would far prefer a proper leftwing Labour party. But it's still a better option than the Tories.

I’m in Scotland. I have no idea who to vote for.

I won’t vote Tory
I won’t vote Labour
I won’t vote SNP
Currently, I won’t vote Green because of SNP.

Lib Dem is the only one left I think.

orinocosfavoritecake · 13/03/2022 16:40

Hmm. Iran also has zero tolerance towards trans people who don’t have surgery - blogs.lse.ac.uk/humanrights/2021/04/12/how-iran-persecutes-some-lgbtq-members-while-subsidizing-others/

Not sure that example works as well as you think it does.

Redshoeblueshoe · 13/03/2022 16:44

Jeremy Corbyn chose to back Madigan - and was his treatment of Linda Bellos was dreadful.
Another fucking misogynist

They have no tolerance for gay people, they literally trans away the gay.
Turnedacorner · 13/03/2022 16:46

I wouldn't vote Labour if my life depended on it!

SamphiretheStickerist · 13/03/2022 16:47

I know. But I can't bring myself to pop a cross in the Tory box and the Labour bloke round here is a ravening racist, old fashioned sexist twat who sets my teeth on edge. It's a Tory stronghold for some reason.

So I amuse myself by adding song lyrics, personal insults or a pithy feminist message. There is nothing else I can do.

SamphiretheStickerist · 13/03/2022 16:47

Corbyn?

Don't make me laugh!

Afrodizzyak · 13/03/2022 16:49

Yes

ParsleySageRosemary · 13/03/2022 16:49

Labour would have a lot of work to do under Keir to convince me that things will be different to how they were under New Labour. New Labour sold out those of us who came from nothing and worked up for a living. It’s now simply not worth doing that, between educational debts, low wages and high costs of living. I would be better off if I hadn’t bothered.

ParsleySageRosemary · 13/03/2022 16:50

(Unlike many official figures I include the cost of buying housing under ‘increased cost of living’, or the lifetime cost of private rent).

tedgran · 13/03/2022 16:51

Here the choice for me is either Tory or Libdem, whose opinions are the same as Labour on women's rights. I won't vote Tory, so I will spoil my ballot paper again

CuntAmongstThePigeons · 13/03/2022 16:53

Howling at Corbyn being the saviour of labour.

Corbyn who caused an avalanche of members to leave the labour party because of the anti semitism.

Ok then.

Somanysocks · 13/03/2022 16:54

Hahaha, nope, not a chance will I be voting Labour with their gaslighting.

ParsleySageRosemary · 13/03/2022 16:56

You’ve got Putin actually invading a foreign people in the name of ethnic unity, targeting hospitals and killing civilians and still banging on about Corbyn being anti semitic?

waltzingparrot · 13/03/2022 16:56

Labour = anti woman

StartingGrid · 13/03/2022 16:57

@Gilead

It’s a shame that those of you not voting Labour over Trans issues are prepared to let the elderly and disabled die due to Tories lack of care.
We didn't earn the right to vote, to be beholden to emotional blackmail like this
Elodie9 · 13/03/2022 16:59

I have to vote Labour, first time ever although I have voted at every single election. and I was born a long time ago. I hear the gender arguments , they do really resonate but my votes for Lib dem and Green previously have not got us anywhere. I cannot fathom how anyone could vote Tory now. I am not jumping for joy at voting for Labour but how else can we stop the Tories. They have broken and dismantled life for ordinary people in the UK.

Fernandina · 13/03/2022 17:00

@MyKingdomforaNameChange

I will consider voting Labour when they can tell me what a woman is.
This. With bloody great bells on.

They'd have to change a shitload of their other policies too, if they want my vote.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/03/2022 17:00

Spoiling your ballot paper is a waste of your vote.

If this thread is anything to go by, there's no wonder the country is fucked.

Greenfields124 · 13/03/2022 17:01

I was a Labour voter, unfortunately I won't be again.
They have shown me how they don't give a shit about women.
So it's no from me.

Peasock · 13/03/2022 17:02

No thanks, won't he voting Tory either. Anyone know what the lib dems are up to these days? Also spoiling your paper is a wasted vote but its better than not going to the polling station at all- they don't know then if you just couldn't be arsed.

KittenKong · 13/03/2022 17:04

Lib Dems? Have you been asleep? They are full on bonkers at the moment.
