Being curious how many of you are thinking to vote Labour in May election just as a revenge to the superiority that carried by Tory?

I haven't done my research yet, so can't say certainly I'd do it. But they're lots of things we are not happy with the local council. Usually may not warrant a change of vote (probably just not bother to vote). But the whole partygate thing made me almost determined to vote Labour in May.

Tory didn't care what the public feel or think, carrying on to find excuses for their corrupted government. And that guy, that guy who's born as a natural lier, I can't even bear to hear his voice anymore. Something needs to be done, when their party refuse to change or at least show the public their remorse. I feel I need to do something.

How many of you feel the same?

We have a great well run Tory council where I live so happy to vote for them again

MarshaBradyo · 13/03/2022 17:06

@waltzingparrot

Labour = anti woman
Not sure who I’ll vote for yet but yes to this
CuntAmongstThePigeons · 13/03/2022 17:10

I'm sorry, not entirely sure what Putin has to do with Corbyn being anti Semitic.

I wouldn't vote for Putin either if that's what you're implying.

Butitsnotfunnyisititsserious · 13/03/2022 17:10

No, I'll be voting Tory again.

Palladin · 13/03/2022 17:14

Definitely not voting Labour, a party that is unable to understand the most basic biological fact that adult XX = Woman, adult XY = Not Woman (AKA Man).

BlueFlavour · 13/03/2022 17:19

Yes I will vote either Labour or Green.
Never Tory.

BlueFlavour · 13/03/2022 17:21

@Elodie9

I have to vote Labour, first time ever although I have voted at every single election. and I was born a long time ago. I hear the gender arguments , they do really resonate but my votes for Lib dem and Green previously have not got us anywhere. I cannot fathom how anyone could vote Tory now. I am not jumping for joy at voting for Labour but how else can we stop the Tories. They have broken and dismantled life for ordinary people in the UK.
And this is why. Thanks @Elodie9
ChloeHel · 13/03/2022 17:21

Never voted labour and never will.

pinky938482 · 13/03/2022 17:22

I will be voting Labour. They are they only credible opposition to the Tory's in my area. Whatever my views on the definition of women. I'm voting based on issues that I feel have a bigger impact on me and my family right now and the ability to afford to live. Not the pronouns of others which both sides seem to be too fixated on.

Justkeeppedaling · 13/03/2022 17:23

I can't vote for a party whose leader says TWAW, or whose shadow ministers are unable to define what a woman is.

If you can’t see the irony already I can’t make you see it. Corbyns supposed personal anti-semitism was blown up by media. It’s become all but impossible to discuss such things properly, as have other ‘isms’ and now ‘phobics’ for Labour, but one would hope that the reality of people being targeted would create some reality check.

In any case the economic policies of Corbyn’s brief ascendancy were more in the hands of McDonnell, and Jews were in no way targeted.

twilightermummy · 13/03/2022 17:26

**MyKingdomforaNameChange

I will consider voting Labour when they can tell me what a woman is.**

This sums my stance up.

CuntAmongstThePigeons · 13/03/2022 17:27

Well a number of Jewish people I know would argue with the definition of "supposed anti semitism"

They simple see it as anti semitism and as a result cancelled they're labour party membership. If you can't see this is an issue, I can't help you.

FairyCakeWings · 13/03/2022 17:27

I’m another that can’t vote for Labour or any other party that can’t accurately define a woman.

ilovesooty · 13/03/2022 17:29

@CuntAmongstThePigeons

Howling at Corbyn being the saviour of labour.

Corbyn who caused an avalanche of members to leave the labour party because of the anti semitism.

Ok then.

Howling

Yeah. Sure you are. Hmm

ilovesooty · 13/03/2022 17:30

@waltzingparrot

Labour = anti woman
Do tell us what the Conservative Party has done for women.
LaQuern · 13/03/2022 17:31

I shall be voting Labour.

Every election where everyone is still refusing to vote for them because they don't know what a woman is, is an election won by the Tories.

To me the priority is getting rid of the Conservatives.
MelCat · 13/03/2022 17:33

I wouldn’t vote out of “revenge” for any party. I’ll vote for the candidate who I feel best will represent our area.

Local elections are regularly used to remind the governing party at Westminster of unhappiness.

Lots of people vote for more minor parties at local elections, but wouldn’t at a general election - when they either vote Tory or Labour.

OnlyTheBravest · 13/03/2022 17:35

My local council is Labour. They are awful. A bunch of self serving individuals without a shred of decency, so no matter what is going on nationally they will definitely not be getting my vote. It is possible that the Tories will do well where I am as there are no other strong contenders.

I must say our local Labour-run council is also an absolute shit storm.

Apart from the bin collections. They're always great.

DrDinosaur · 13/03/2022 17:45

I will only vote for candidates who know what a woman is. I would prefer them to be left leaning candidates who are concerned about the poor and the environment, but if they can't say what a woman is they are either too stupid or too cowardly to get my vote.

moonbedazzled · 13/03/2022 17:45

I think the binmen are just great. They're so brilliant with my mum who's 86 with dementia. If she forgets to put the bins out, they go get it for her and put it away. And they are so relentlessly cheerful with their, 'morning love'.
I ❤ binmen.

Rainbowshit · 13/03/2022 17:47

I will not be voting Labour until they have a definition of woman that I am happy with. Only women have a cervix.

GirlOfTudor · 13/03/2022 18:08

My voting choice runs deeper than that 😂
